“The world speaks to me in colors, and my soul answers in music.” — Rabindranath Tagore.🌈✨ Holi is one of my favorite Indian festivals. It’s a celebration of spring harvest and celebration of LOVE between Radha and Lord Krishna.💫What’s your favorite color to celebrate with on Holi?✨💖

Rainbow spreads of entries from Mission 22: Monochrome, featuring collages by @ironside-eyes.bsky.social, @sadcoreandpancakes.bsky.social, @craigauge.bsky.social, and @tarrangart.bsky.social!

Overhead view of 10 letter-sheet sized monochrome collages ranging in color from pink to purple, arranged in a fan so that a portion of each is visible. The collages are abstract with a lot of shapes that have a strong vertical aspect.

An overhead view of abstract monochrome collages in colors ranging from magenta to blue. The collages are on a white background. Three have generous negative space around the shapes of color. Four have been cut so that the substrate conforms to the shape of the collage elements.

Overhead view of 5 postcard-sized monochrome collages representing red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. The designs are abstract with a balance of horizontal and vertical elements, almost suggesting a woven grid. Several elements in each collage give the impression of shards, introducing diagonal energy to the compositions.

Overhead view of monochrome collages in bright colors, fanned out. They are variations on a still life theme, each presenting a vessel patterned with painted marks and holding bouquets of painted papers cut into flower shapes.
