#Castlevania turned 40, so I’m sharing my collection. I started a sketchbook in 2009 that I’d slowly get filled at comic book cons. Here’s the first few, with more to come. Artists: Gary Bedell David Faught Steven Sanders Jeremy Mohler Ed Bickford @edbickfordiii.bsky.social

Very sad that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls will be removed from Apple Arcade Aug 20, and no longer playable Sept 3. I played when it originally came to arcade. It was a fun game with an interesting story, but I never finished because of a glitch. It’s sad to see this become more lost CV media.

Starting screen for Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. The central image is a shot of Castlevania on a high cliff, backlit by a full moon and clouds.
The game’s title and “start” button sit below the castle.
Surrounding the castle are various characters from the series in action poses. To the right, top to bottom: Shanoa, Simon Belmont, and Charlotte Aulin. To the left, top to bottom: Maria Renard as a young girl, Alucard, and Soma Cruz.

Really enjoyed the first episode of Lanterns. Kyle Chandler is a great grizzled Hal Jordan, and Aaron Pierre is perfect as John Stewart. Wonderful actor, and the dude looks like he stepped right out of the JLU cartoon.

I love the character of Doctor Doom in the comics, and I’m definitely interested to see what they do with him in the movie. I’m just worried it’s going to be more spectacle than story. Nothing wrong with that, but Thunderbolts, Wonder Man, and the new Spiderman show both are possible to achieve.

So I’ve been sick for a couple weeks and apparently that’s long enough for me to forget how to stream. Just recorded a three hour LEGO build that I thought was live but definitely wasn’t 😖 At least I still have the video. Maybe I’ll upload it. Not sure yet. Definitely frustrated. #dumbstreamer

I’m very selective about what Transformers I buy because it can get out of hand quickly. Unfortunately for me, Glit is one of my favorites, and I love the idea of a Jem and the Holograms / Kiss Players crossover. Dammit Hasbro, you got me 😑
