iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Wages are stagnant and expenses are soaring. Using every hour of our waking life trying to keep our basic needs met is ridiculous in this day and age with all the technology and capacity we have as a global society. WE BUILD THE SYSTEMS and the ghoulish vampires draining them should starve Not us

Threaten to cancel/ swap your phone and Internet plans because "you just can't afford it anymore" (our Internet bill went from 80 to 30 with the same services because of this: they up charge because they can) Find your library, there's so much free shit there and they're BEGGING people to use it.

Grow edible things, find food banks, talk to your smart friends about generating your own energy, think about collecting rainwater ( unprocessed for outdoors use and if you've got the resources, for a 500 gallon collection/ filtration system, do it).

I'm of the opinion that minimizing expenses related to everyday living is a top priority. If I have to give people money because I HAVE to for being ALIVE they're getting as little as possible. My resources are meant to serve my community, my friends and myself not Gas.Co and OmniFood

My great grandma died today. She was 99. I had just recently joked that once you get that old you can't stop until you reach the finish line! Three digits is right there! But not everything wraps up neatly And laughter can't beat every reality And people are dying so frequently

Still think about how I've been told multiple times people get nervous when I send a message and the sentence ends with a period. Like how am I supposed to finish it bro? 😭

I like that the sun is so blazing hot here that there aren't even insects out in the summer. Just asphalt turning white from an uncaring endless beam attack of radiation and plants that somehow don't gaf

Ask someone why they care about you and see if they frame their responses as your qualities or if they frame it as what you do for them

Self-destructive behavior when you're in college: Alcohol, unprotected sex, staying up doing drugs and breaking laws Self destructive behavior in your 30s: eating a turkey sandwich a /little/ too late at night

Pulled a daily tarot card and got the Empress reversed. My mom just got into town and sent me a photo of my own car waited for me in the parking lot then FOLLOWED ME TO WORK? Just confirmation bias though

I'll lead by example: I've struggled with depression and self-isolation for many years and it cost me friendships, countless opportunities, and my physical health. I still struggle with being open with friends but I made a decision to fight through the discomfort and fear and finally Live

A block of text titled "Singularity" with a paragraph written underneath that reads "Thank you for treating me kindly, but I don't know what to do. When someone offers a hand All I can think about is how heavy I am. I want to live in the sun Not afraid that I will consume the light And leave everyone around me to freeze"

The background is starry with a silhouetted figure at the bottom of the screen.

Pride Month and Men's Mental Health Awareness Month has begun: A silent burden sits on the shoulders of many of our friends. Incredible pain and isolation takes so many incredible people from us each year. I encourage everyone to take this month as the push to try reaching out and checking in.

No matter how long I've been at a job it always feels like: "Okay I'm here, who else is gonna be here? How did I greet them last time? can't do the same thing. I'm definitely doing something wrong and people aren't telling me. Am I allowed to do___? Whole team got me on fraud watch. I'm fired TODAY

It's hard right now for a lot of my friends, I wish I had the means to make them feel safe, secure and supported. If I can provide anything let it be that I want to know about the challenges, I want to provide an open ear I may not have a solution or the best words but I am here

Walking around on streets Made by men, More machines than people Knowing that the end comes quickly For models made too long ago Fight the forward movement Plastic pride Or blind hedonics The wave that comes Will wake us up Or give us dreamless sleep
