People working to remove the snow that has adhered to the Tokyo Skytree
One person is looking up here. The place where the workers are standing is 375 meters above the ground, and the observation deck where the photo is being taken is at the 450-meter point. The Tokyo Skytree is different from ordinary buildings as it is a tower, so the temperature is low, and the snow that sticks turns into ice, often falling and damaging the roofs of surrounding buildings. Countermeasures are quite difficult, limiting pedestrian traffic on surrounding roads, and thus, staff members manually remove the snow.
