They days have been foogy and then sunny and unusually warm! But that warmth comes with stagnant air - air that traps our squalor, filth, and pollution from burning fossil carbon for transportation.

We are in Phase 2 of the Conceptual options analysis in developing the Service Development Plan for high-speed rail on the Cascadia corridor. Feasible route options to be identified by the end of 2028.

CW car crash The power went out for the first time for us here in Anacortes. Turns out, a driver struck a power pole across town and dimmed half the city. And when I say 'struck,' I mean 'struck with extreme prejudice' This is one block from a new crosswalk, two blocks from a roundabout.

Power pole, snapped and somehow tangled together, and debris scattered across D Avenue. an ambulance and a police vehicle with lights on are in the background, along with a scattering of onlookers

A firefighter first responder walks away from the scene of the wreck; a grey vehicle is tangled in wires and powerpole that it has snapped in two places.
