New video on the slop channel. "Movies that Emotionally Destroyed me." www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT20...

Thanks for all the support on this one guys. I really appreciate it and it means a lot. TBH, I wasn't sure if the video even turned out okay after working on it for so long, and I half expected it to top out at 1000 views. I'm glad to see so many of you are enjoying it!

For better or worse this is a line Working Designs was made to take out of the game lol. But they certainly tried!

And by "in the thousands" I mean over 1k. Probably closer to 3.

011

Tarks Gauntlet @tarksgauntlet.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Somewhere in the thousands. A few surprises along the way too. Like a ps3 copy of knights contract we bought for 1.99 got up somewhere around 90 dollars (Canadian)

We cleared out a good 200+ games over the last year. Still leaves way more than we'll ever have time for but it felt good to make the space and put money back in the pocket. (We've been filling that space with more games tho...)

I've been about ready to list my wares for sale on twitter for a while now.

Weird. My sewers just became in need of repairs. What's the number?

010

Tarks Gauntlet @tarksgauntlet.bsky.social · 19/12/2025

It's 16 chicken nuggets and a jolly rancher.

Narrator: What little Jonnie didn't know was that he was really getting disappointment for Christmas.

Your Christmas tree ain't complete without 1 weird, sentimental ornament.

Only watched it a few times (it's very long and hard to make time for) but the cinematography was incredible. Despite its lack of reputation I think it's one of history's more important films for it's technical achievements. So many shots simply were not possible before this movie.

Gaming needs more baddies whose thighs rub together when they walk. (Game sucked though)

Noticing a definite uptick in negative comments on old videos lately but like, man, they couldn't be less accurate. "10 years later, this game is still fantastic," - Negative Clown.

Trails Through Daybreak 2 has undoubtedly received some of the most heated criticism in franchise history. And I get it... But does the reception really paint the whole picture? My (very late) review below:

Played on PC. I don't think north America got a PS1 version.

That is an unhinged explanation of Audition. ...I hope it gets people to watch it in the craziest of pretenses.

Tubi is such a chad service. I love it. So many classics there that I'd never decide to watch again if Tubi didn't remind me of their existence. It's such a blast! (And I got a soft spot for the B Grade shlock on there)

I won't try to hype it up. It's a pretty small scale family drama type story about childhood trauma and its reverberating effects. You know, tumblr-slop.

Nice. Thanks! Looks super sleek. I'll check it out!

I have a lot of history with composing, song writing, recording and mixing. In every step of that process I've run into the "It's never complete" wall. No matter what, I want to keep tweaking and modifying things. Being able to call an "imperfect" peice done might be a good thing :P

100% I've wanted to write this story for a while and now I can technically say I've done it. The rest is just getting it to a point where others (and myself) might hopefully be content with it haha.

Been working on a novel on and off since Jan 2024. Happy to say that today I finished the first draft. Gonna spend the next 3 months learning to edit, then edits and rewrites start soon after. Crazy to come so far and still have so much more left to go.

I didn't share it here earlier, but I made a 2 part video on Panty Party (sort of.) 1 video on each channel. It's the second channel video that I really wanted to do and I'd consider it an important video packaged very (in)appropriately. Give it a watch if you haven't yet. youtu.be/wHHQmNxtAA0

I love his classic tunes, really. They're emblematic to me. But if you've heard one classic OST of his, you've heard them all. Go Shiinas work on legendia was a breath of fresh air.

Turns out DS games don't go to sleep when you close the 3DS screen, so when you leave your 3DS plugged in for over a year to "eventually come back to that game" you log some serious hours.

040

Tarks Gauntlet @tarksgauntlet.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

It's a shame, cause my understanding is that the next game was basically finished but they hit roadblocks in its release. At this point I'm hoping for at least a super late release on PC like we got for uppers long after that localization seemed dead.

Tarks Gauntlet @tarksgauntlet.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

I suppose spinoffs can continue a narrative, but I want the mainline games with the mainline gameplay to return.

She already is. She achieved maximum aura.

010

Tarks Gauntlet @tarksgauntlet.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

Another genre defining classic relegated to the realms of endless spinoffs with no mainline games in sight. Wake me when this period is over. I grew tired of it long ago.
