Going from Hunter main to one of our prog team's main tanks is a bit daunting and scary. We start Sprocketmonger tomorrow, send me the good vibes!

Hi Bluesky, could really use your help 🙏🙏 We just launched our latest game Starless Abyss - the exact week that Oblivion was shadow-dropped. Which has been *not fantastic* for our launch If anyone can spare a RT, that would be so, so helpful ❤️❤️ Find it here: store.steampowered.com/app/3167970/...

Ugh, my entire guild is bricked. Nobody can log in on their guilded characters, but have been able to connect on every other toon they've tried.

VERY EXCITED to be working with the legends at @raider.io for this Race to World First! They're an entire group of absolute professionals and I'm thrilled to be a part of their impeccable coverage team this tier. Let's do this!

Ok @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com, you folks knocked it out of the park with Undermine. It's extremely detailed & thematic, the music blasts, and DRIVE is neat. If the raid measures up, this could be one of the best patches in a long time. (Also DRIVE makes me motion sick, but that is a me problem)

A very cute Samoyed is lying down with only his head on a pillow, in a manner similar to how humans sleep.

Sadness is when a ton of your guild members get poach attempts, but you get none. Picked last, like third grade kickball all over again!

Ding dong, Ky'veza is dead. We had approximately 329084328429482 annoying hurdles to deal with but I am very proud of our people for keeping it going to go 6/8M.

We have a very strange guild trend. We've been a Mythic guild for three tiers, and the one class nobody ever wants to swap to is Hunter. Hunter recruits don't stick around (or even show up to interviews sometimes) either. Given how popular the class is, that strikes me as really odd.

Hey, if anyone in the CT/MA area is looking for a nice reliable car, some friends are selling a 2013 Acura TSX Sportwagon with ~147k miles for less than KBB value, and it comes with a second set of wheels with snow tires. HMU for more details.

I had to raid lead Ky'veza prog tonight, that was a surprise, but it was actually pretty fun. Brought in a bench player so I could do it from the "21st raider" slot, that was a fun and interesting challenge!

In other news, Horizon Forbidden West is awesome and I think I'm going to try to 100% this game. It's slightly buggier than the first game was, but nothing game breaking so far. It's very pretty, has incredible sound design, and improved systems. This is quickly becoming a franchise I love.

I'm glad alts can fly on Siren Isle now, but why wasn't that the default? Why are we, as players, testing things that almost certainly nobody will like? I genuinely hate being negative about it, but for a game with a sub fee, I expect more. I'm sure that the ground-level devs are doing their best.

000

Tarec @tarec.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Normally I hate being negative in spaces like this but man, I hate the Siren Isle. I'm very glad for folks who enjoy it and the lore around it, but I just can't get past how very dull it is, and how frustrating it is that I have to do the ring upgrade questline on *every* character to unlock flight.

I think it's pretty bogus that there's no Glory of the Hero for TWW, at least not yet. Those dungeon achievements are often fun. The seasonal format makes it harder to implement, but I'd still like to have one to work toward.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is a very good game so far. The story is compelling, the combat is solid, it's quite pretty, and I feel like they did a great job with the port. The sound design is perhaps my favorite part, though. The music sets the mood so very well, especially in the outdoor settings.
