Ukraine’s Air Force confirmed the loss of a MiG-29 and its pilot during a combat mission on October 1. Capt. Marat Mambetov, 25, of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade, ejected after his fighter was hit by a Russian missile but did not survive. #Ukraine
