Farewell, Dolly of the tender heart and the gentle soul. Hearing this again makes a bittersweet song even more so..... youtu.be/gcPY3RIvtCw?...

#TCMParty Dear Heart, such a lovely, charming film, an old favorite of mine with perhaps Geraldine Page's best onscreen performace. Fun fact for TV fans: Both of the women who played Gladys Kravitched on Bewitched (Alice Pearce and Sondra Gould) have bit parts in here.

Oh, good. Time for the 3 bump off the boss dream sequences, some of the best scenes in the film. Jane's is dark, Dolly's is a delicious turning of the tables, but Lily's gets the gold star, a masterwork of comedy #TCMParty

#TCMParty This Xerox machine in Nine to Five is something else. It's behaving like Linda Blair in The Exorcist.
