The creators of Shokugeki no Soma saw a competitive cooking show and they made an entire series before realizing 'Top Chef' meant something entirely different.

Maybe I was too harsh on Food Wars. I really like how Souma constantly takes down arrogant chefs without fine dining pomp. Really just advocates for the love of good food. wait why is the camera panning down no stop we don't need

So many anime could be incredible if they would just cool it with the over the top sex stuff. Like, "Wow, a show about a culinary school where students do cooking battles sounds awesome! I sure hope a middle schooler doesn't get depicted getting molested by a squid in the first ten minutes!"

"They were young, mostly. Aspiring warriors seeking to take my head for gold and glory. They screamed 'Monster!' as they rushed in. Choked out 'Demon!' with their last breath. Foolish. Foolish. But were they wrong? I am no longer sure." 𝘔𝘪𝘻𝘶𝘬𝘪 - Commission by the wonderful @chasikuu.bsky.social

Clannad is not fair. It's been ten years since I watched this anime. My memories should have faded. I should be free. Yet I have been so thoroughly emotionally Pavlov'd that I can't hear 60 seconds of In the Palm of a Tiny Hand without becoming a sobbing mess. Fuck this anime. It's incredible.

Something that I've come to realize about myself is that I 𝙖𝙢 emotionally susceptible to power metal solos, and I will 𝙣𝙤𝙩 be apologizing for it. So yeah, I'm gonna go listen to the Guilty Gear Strive OST and have a good cry. Enjoy your afternoons!

Me: "It's cool that as I get older, I seem to be getting better at taking things in stride and learning to not get so manic over every little thing." Also Me: "It's 2:00 AM and hypoglycemia has me awake anyways, I'd better practice my Norwegian whilst also voice training lest I literally DIE."

I am not going to be erased, and neither are you. This pathetic little worm is going to draw his last breath knowing that he failed. I don't know when he'll go, and I don't know how, but I know that we're going to outlast him, and whomever of his cronies that dare try to succeed him. Stand strong.

"They told me it's hopeless. The slavers have a veritable army in that camp, armed to the teeth. But I've got six-hundred meters between them and me, plenty of ammo, and all the time in the world. They don't stand a chance." - Nina Kovic, Wasteland Sniper Art by the incredible @hayst.bsky.social

It is 4:58 AM and I am experiencing a Bluesky-based dilemma in which I can silence the weird obsessive KPop fans, but at the cost of missing out on sick photos of 40k collections. I must ruminate; there will be no sleep this night.

Had a domain sitting neglected for nearly a year, so I thought I'd put it to good use. I'm bona-fide.
