I sketched this during last week’s Paleostream and decided to polish it up a bit. Here’s some detail shots and my reference I was using.

A male Tapejara wellnhoferi. Not only does it have a larger and fluffier head crest than the female, it also is experience partial leucism in its fuzzy coat.

A female Tapejara wellnhoferi, also chilling in a tree. I wanted to emphasize the potential for sexual dimorphism in these pterosaurs by giving the female Tapejara a smaller head crest and less extensive pycnofibers on its crest.
