Took a long social media break, but now that Lent is over I am planning to start posting here again! I hope all is well for you all, I have missed the community here

Question for comic artists: how do you balance comic art with your personal work? I love drawing my comic, but i feel like when I work on it, its /all/ I work on. I am wondering if this is just how it is for everyone, or if theres something I could do to manage my time/energy better

Not going to try and catch up on 40 days of missed posts but I hope all is well here! I had a lovely Lent, and will probably start posting art again when I'm finished with my finals!

I am alive, just haven't been posting here. I am a student, and ive been busy with school and life! I do have a couple little announcements to make, but bc of the character limit I'll have to break them up.

Working on getting better at this myself, but I was just thinking about this the other day. It might seem silly, but it can really help inspire and motivate am artist to keep doing what they're doing. It means a lot to have your work recognized

Webcomic creators - ComicFury needs our help! ComicFury is basically the last of the old-school webcomic hosting sites and the mod Kyo needs more financial support if he's going to continue. If you host on ComicFury, I encourage you to support Kyo at patreon.com/comicfury or ko-fi.com/comicfury! 🐊📖

I have to give a demo speech for my public speaking class tomorrow, and I decided to explain how to make mini zines! Making the prompt lists to pass out has got me with the zine bug again, but unfortunately it's also got my hands and wrists hurting so maybe that will be a project for another day.

Orii is a circle of the stars Druid in a campaign I’m currently playing in, and fun fact, they started the campaign with 0 trauma. None! Zilch! I definitely think I win some type of award for making a character without trauma for DnD. ✨✨ #art #dnd #druid #dndart

If I get to 100 followers on here I am going to host a DTIYS event but instead of drawing one of my drawings in ur style u draw urself in the red tape art style. Make a sona or oc for my story world. I think that would be silly.

Yes, exactly this! Character art is world-building AND storytelling just as much as environmental design, architecture or anything else you might place in that category is as well. A few related thoughts in thread, just because this is a favourite topic of mine. 🧵✨
