iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I just realized I still get excited for Apple events as I did when I was a kid. In life, no matter what you’re going through, no matter how many scars you’ve collected, please don’t lose the spark that lets you see magic in small things. Believe in magic or you’ll never find it.

The app icon (made with Sketch) features metallic & glass textures, inspired by the windows of a spaceship. The gradient colors are inspired by the hues of Earth’s atmosphere. The design has been meticulously crafted for iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, as well as for its sticker app counterpart.

Happy Earth Day! This planet is our only home and I kinda love it! [insert image of Katy Perry kissing the ground after her spaceflight] 2 years ago, I released my first app called Celebrating Home, which is an art experience designed to promote appreciation for life on Earth.

Working on a fresh new look for my portfolio site! Taking inspiration from visionOS, love how it handles depth and motion. Obsessed with how variable blur + glass materials + subtle transition effects work together to create a sense of depth and context

From this day forward, we shall call it… ‘feels coding.’ Feels coding: The act of writing code guided by intuition, aesthetic sense, and a deep, almost instinctual understanding of how things should look and work. May or may not involve vibing to music. No Gen AI.

Rohan Tandon @tanrohan.bsky.social · 16/03/2025

‪Just learned that “vibe coding” means having Gen AI code for you (which is cool but) that is NOT what I did LMAO. No Gen AI used in this!‬ ‪Can we please have “vibe coding” mean coding with feels or something?‬

As a designer, learning to code has been a breakthrough for me, and SwiftUI is the best way to build apps across Apple platforms.

Rohan Tandon @tanrohan.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

I’ve spent the last several weeks obsessively refining every detail, and mastering SwiftUI at a deeper level. This update gave me a playground to flip every switch, test every framework, and emerge with greater confidence in bringing my design ideas to life through code.

Yesterday, I had an incredible time at the Apple Developer Center in Cupertino! I learned A TON about how spatial computing opens up new possibilities for immersive storytelling— everything from building 3D environments to prototyping interactive moments.
