I hear you. I couldn’t reply in The Thread(TM) but I’m one of the fairly new arrivals. I’ve observed a shift even since i joined. The population increase has brought with it a change of tone. Couple that with people confusing social media with reality and it’s a recipe for troubles.

When we first rescued my boy Kit from an abuse situation, this was his favorite way to sleep. He would just rumble peacefully in my arms. It’s one of my favorite things about him. He doesn’t do it much anymore but it was nice that he felt safe enough with us for that at the time

Yeah. This happened in 2007. We’re talking 17 years ago now (dear god how has it been that long), and I still wake up thinking about it sometimes. But also I still think about that time in 2003 I replied “thanks you too” when a waiter said “enjoy your meal”

It was really weird. Everybody told me how much they loved her and all I could think about was how I had been so excited to learn from her as a prolific author and how instead of teaching me she got personal. To this day I don’t understand why she attacked my character like that.
