𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞 constantly........... CONSTANTLY....... thinking about alan wake 1 and all the ways in which the wakes & barry echo those three characters... (and Cynthia's & Rose's parallels too, of course) #AlanWake

Digital drawing of Thomas Zane on his diving suit, and Alan Wake. Zane is floating above Alan in a dark environment, light pouring from inside his helmet and illuminating the scene, while Alan looks up at him taken aback, holding a gun and an off-screen flashlights on his hands. The drawing is framed with their names, Tom at the top and Alan at the bottom, with an old fashioned lantern on the left and some colorful knitted ornaments on the right.

Drawing of Emil Hartman and Barry Wheeler framed with their first names, and the lantern and ornaments. A spotlight is shined on them leaving the rest in darkness. They stand at the same level, Hartman with his hands up in explanation and a smug smile while Barry has his arms crossed, expression annoyed. Above them there are six dialogue bubbles all interrupting the previous one.

Barbara Jagger as the Dark Presence and Alice Wake with the aforementioned framing. They're almost entirely surrounded by darkness as Jagger drags Alice down the lake waters with a smile, while Alice tries to swim upwards with a panicked expression, air bubbles coming out of her mouth. There are very faint sunlight rays coming up from above.

"Is that a lighthouse with a dying light? Or a reflection of my glowing eyes? Am I more than just a dream? ♫ A̶m̶ ̵I̶ ̵a̶ ̵m̶o̶n̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ ̵o̶f̶ ̵t̶h̶e̶ ̵d̶e̶e̶p̶?" Thinking about Thomas Zane, not the Bright Presence anymore, but not the Filmmaker just yet...(and def Not the original Zane either) #AlanWake #AlanWake2

Stylized digital art of Thomas Zane, with black blocky shadows and colored only in blues and greens. He's wearing his diving suit except for the helmet, which he's holding on his hands and facing him, while he turns his head to the side. The only light source comes from inside of the helmet, projecting beams of light from its vision ports. Despite his face being hit with one of these beams his entire head is engulfed in shadows, except for an eye looking straight to the viewer. The silhouette of his hair looks wet and dripping, but all around him there are bubbles.

back when i first played alwake 2 id always found the (potential) relationship between these two so interesting, and so bittersweet! The puns book really got to me 😭 #AlanWake #AlanWake2 #SagaAnderson #IlmoKoskela

Digital art of Ilmo Koskela and Saga Anderson from the waist up against a red background. They're dressed in their regular clothes, Saga without her FBI jacket and with her hair down. Ilmo is smiling at her affectionately as he hands her a present, a book wrapped up with a green ribbon on top. She has one arm crossed and a hand reaching for the gift with an amused smile, their fingers lightly touching.

The same drawing, splintered and broken in Saga's half to reveal another drawing with a green background this time. She's pulling away now, looking alert. The splinters in Ilmo's half reveal a knife, and a Cult of the Tree necklace.

The full second drawing, with a green background. Saga is now wearing her FBI jacket and pointing at Ilmo with her gun, frowning in confusion, while Ilmo has his Cult robe, his hood halfway pulled back to reveal a hurt expression. They're both pulling away from each other, Ilmo looking startled as he drops a knife.

imaginary!barry from the alan wake 1 dlcs you will ALWAYS be famous....... to me............ #AlanWake #BarryWheeler

Digital drawing of Alan Wake and Barry Wheeler as seen in the Alan Wake dlcs, Barry looking slightly translucent and wearing his headlamp and christmas lights. Barry is standing in one leg on a rocky surface and pointing the way forward with a goofy smile, while Alan looks up at him with a frown but also smiling. The beam of warm light from the headlamp covers about one third of the picture, and between them there are small stripes of colorful light.

Another drawing of Alan and Barry. Barry looks solid this time, standing in between the viewer and Alan in a protective manner. Alan is curled up into a ball on the floor, mix of floorboard and grass, looking catatonic, while Barry is holding an ax with an angry snarl. Small rivulets of darkness rise up from his figure, one of his eyes and his mouth.

"And some say that it loops forever This road that I lose you on every time And some say that it loops forever, this road (road, road, road, road)" the first thing I could think of after finishing Initiation 9: Gone ;_; (even though its um. . . Not Quite Accurate) #AlanWake #AlanWake2 #AliceWake

Digital painting of a stage in a dark room, a spotlight shinning on top of Alan Wake, his silhouette defined enough to see he's singing to a microphone. Around the room there's a multitude of tables where faceless copies of Alice Wake sit, facing him. The stage and the room are tilted diagonally, and there's dark water filling the room horizontally, so it looks like the Alices are slowly being submerged by it. The painting glows green around the edges, and red where the spotlight hits.

The same painting, in the original black and white.

hi do you ever think about this paragraph of the page Building the Valhalla Nursing Home? how that's the last we hear of Barry From The Story, up until the emails (and thus outside Alan's narrative)? how it almost sounds like wistful thinking? one last farewell? #AlanWake #AlanWake2 #BarryWheeler

Digital drawing of Barry Wheeler standing with a suitcase on his hand, staring down with a sad look on his face. Behind him is Alan Wake, looking like he does in the second game, as he wraps his arms around his shoulders in a hug and leans his head against his, expression hidden by the shadow but still looking equally sad. He's holding a manuscript page in one of his hands, and his black suit merges with the darkness of the lower part of the background. Around them there's the narration: At this point, Wheeler felt good about himself. He had a heart of gold. No need to feel guilty. Wheeler left the work to the contractor and returned to New York City. He had done his part. It was time to turn over a new leaf.

back when I started aw2 I got this tutorial popup abt how the mind place didnt pause the game, and considering my computer ran it Very Slow the idea of Saga zoning out for half an hour while working the case was so funny to me sjsjs #AlanWake #AlanWake2

A comic of six panels featuring Saga Anderson, Alan Wake and Alex Casey.
1. Alan and Casey are sitting at the table, Casey with his coffee mug on his hand, while Saga stands and says "This is very interesting, give me a moment to think."
2. Saga turns away from them, a hand on her hip and another in her chin, deep in thought, while Alan and Casey look at her.
3. She holds the position a little farther, while a leaf comically flies behind her to show the passage of time, as Alan sweats and Alex simply takes a sip of his coffee.
4. Alan asks "What… what is she doing?" to a now annoyed Casey, Saga comically tiny still holding position.
5. Closeup of Casey saying, in a dialogue that's implied to be longer, "Agent Anderson has this special technique that she uses in cases like this…" and then in tiny letters "you wouldn't get it".
6. Closeup of Alan with his arms crossed and raising an eyebrow, annoyed, stating "Oh, right, like the Writer's Room." and the reply coming from off screen "The what".

if remedy doesn't give me a scene where Alan reunites with his buddy pal best friend Barry after being in Hell there Will be violence 😤 #AlanWake #BarryWheeler

Digital drawing of Alan Wake and Barry Wheeler, much younger than canon. Alan has a beer bottle in one hand and has his other arm wrapped around Barry's shoulders, laughing loudly and visibly drunk. Barry is also drunk, holding Alan by the waist and looking at him surprised yet very fondly. Barry is wearing a patterned shirt while Alan has a suit.

Another drawing of Alan and Barry, both older than canon. Barry is talking about something, explaining with one hand and grabbing Alan's shoulder with the other. Alan is leaning on Barry's side, arms crossed but hand reaching out for him, looking at him with amused fondness. Alan is wearing a flannel shirt on top of a tshirt while Barry has an Old Gods Of Asgard tshirt.

more dramatic art of Alice in the dark room, please ❗❗❗ #AlanWake #AliceWake

Digital drawing of Alice Wake in a red darkroom, her back to the viewer but her face turned to the camera with a melancholic and haunted look, eyes almost glowing. Around her there are strings with photographs in the background and on the foreground, the one in the latter looking vaguely like an open hand.

𝟔𝟔𝟓, 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 #AlanWake #AlanWake2

Digital drawing of Thomas Zane and Scratch at the Oceanview Hotel. Zane is leaning relaxed on his door frame, a hand behind his head and the other holding a cocktail as he smiles at Scratch, who is just arriving to his room and has a hand on the knob. Scratch is wearing a deer mask, an unmade tie around his neck, and is holding a bloodied knife. His clothes and the mask are also splattered in blood, smeared as well on the floor beneath him and on the walls and broken lamps behind him. The hallway is dark, except for the only working lamp between them, and the open door behind Zane. Scratch's door number is the one fully visible, room 666.

an assortment of sketches! from when I was trying to get the feel of these characters (2023) #AlanWake

Pencil sketches of Saga Anderson and Alex Casey, from the chest up.

Three sketches of Barry Wheeler, shoulders up, and one tired eye.

Sketch of Alan Wake (as seen in the second game) looking distressed.

I still cant get over the fact that without the full context scratch sounds like THEE edgiest oc in the planet, like imagine you're saga and casey and the guy who's been missing for 13 years drops this on you, lmfao... #AlanWake #AlanWake2

Comic of three panels with Alan Wake, Alex Casey and Saga Anderson.
1. A closeup in color of Alan's eyes, expression looking wild as he says "Mr Scratch, my evil doppelgänger, a serial killer made of darkness incarnate."
2. Alex and Saga sitting across the desk, in black and white. Alex has his arms crossed, looking straight ahead and squinting in disbelief, while Saga has her eyes lost somewhere, surprised. She looks like she was writing something down up until that moment. There are two ellipsis next to both of them.
3. Alex and Saga in the same place, now looking at each other in astonishment. There are three question marks next to each of them.

Hello Bluesky! I'll be starting to repost my remedy art here, starting with the very first art I did after finishing the first game <3 #AlanWake

Digital art of Alan Wake and Alice Wake based on a scene from the game. They're laying on the couch, Alan with his back to the armrest, a hand around Alice's shoulders and another raising to meet her arm, while Alice leaning on him with a hand on his chest. They're both smiling at each other, Alice with a joyful glint on her eye and Alan with an adoring look. The room is completely dark, illuminated only by a handful of candles sitting on different tables around them.
