I've moved here! Politics needs it's own space and place ;) I'll bring over some pieces of content for continuity - thanks all! bsky.app/profile/tani...

There is no doubt in my mind that Mark Carney will be announced as the new Liberal Leader and that he will call and election before a Non-Confidence motion will hit the floor. Thoughts?

Trump launched an unprecedented hateful and bigoted attack against the 2SLBGTQ community in the USA, denying the existence of any gender other than male or female. Sound familiar to our Conservative PM Candidate Pierre Poilievre?

All global markets are down because of Trump’s threats against Canada, Mexico, China, the EU and UK. He claims it’s worth the price.

What can we do? 1. Buy Canadian. Even better, buy local. 2. Boycott American. Look for “Product of Canada”, this means the item is 98% or more Canadian, or “Made in Canada”, means at least 51% Canadian content. Spend your travel dollars in Canada. 3. Support leaders that truly stand up for Canada.

This little fella was pretty keen on support us door knocking in the Cranberry neighbourhood! If you haven’t been through Eva’s book store in a bit, head on in! She’s got a great kids section! And bonus cute Doggo! #powellriver #qathet #ndp #doorknocking

Long haired Cat with a Siamese look, beautiful blue eyes, looks up at Tanille. Seemingly asking for scratches or pets.

Ever accessed health care in Canada as a Canadian Citizen and wondered how much it costs? Well you should start figuring that out, if we end up with a Blue government there is a lot more than losing our Climate Grants that’ll be coming our way.

I’m sorry but the fact that Congress is about to throw immigrants under the bus at the very same time that countless immigrants in California are risking their lives to protect neighborhoods many of them could never aspire live in is breaking my brain in a whole new way.

I was at a comedy club in Manhattan last night. Comedian: Where you from? Audience member: Texas! Comedian: Oh! Here for an abortion?

These fine folks are doing amazing #climate work in Alert Bay - they’re clearing derelict #boats out of the water, surfacing sunken equipment and sweeping the beaches for abandoned #wreckage. But the #funding is too short sighted to allow them to truly clean it all up - we need to do better.

If you’re ever wondering why wildfire smoke is so bad for you it’s because it includes things like “an entire bicycle”

For the, “they’re taking our jobs” crowd. Here’s your chance—$16.50 an hour, no benefits, and no time off. Let’s see how fast the patriotic job-seekers line up for the grind they’ve been so mad about losing.

Why not start a new platform off with a personal accomplishment - my first time being published in a book! Due to launch in February and I’m thrilled! Can’t wait to receive my copy.
