Our Aussie Magpies have babies. Three gloriously loud and beautiful babies this year. And for dad (super white neck feathers) a bath to remove baby magpie poo from the feathers was in order ! I Love this time of year. #birds

The food around Shanghai Disneyland is definitely a highlight. Really diverse and interesting and FRESH ! The pirate ship contains milk tea flavoured shaved ice! Brilliant.

We are home from Shanghai Disneyland now. But what an amazing 10th birthday celebration. The live show for the 10th in front of the castle was simply perfect. And no DPA. You can just turn up to watch it. Here’s the Turning Red portion. Fabulous!!

Back in Singapore after the Disney Adventure Cruise. It was astonishing. Really really great. If you love Disney you will love this ship ! Oh and yes the huge ship is incredibly smooth on the open seas.

We are on the Disney Adventure Cruise. If you ever do sail on the ship don’t buy the fireworks party which promises a seat, drink and dessert. The seat is no better than standing anywhere on the deck - 11 minute show one tiny dessert! For almost $50 pp I felt so ripped off.

We are sailing on the Disney Adventure Cruise Ship at the moment. It is awesome and we are having a fabulous time. It has many gorgeous places. And really amazing food. The shows we have seen so far are phenomenal !Highly recommend ! So much fun.

The deer of Nara Japan are brutal. I have bruises. I would definitely do it again ! You can buy senbei biscuits and feed them. They bow and you bow and give them a bickie. It is just fun! But when they don’t get the treat they come from behind and bite. Sakura sublime.

Kew Gardens Christmas lights/ experience. In London. Sold out most nights. So if you are going next year get in early ! Freezing cold. Tickets from 4.30 because that is when it is dark 🤣 A great 2 mile walking trail. Easy access from central London by train.

We like to go to the Ice Cream Parlour in Fortnum and Mason In London. You can have afternoon tea upstairs, but there are better ones in London IMHO. But the ice cream parlour is incredibly gorgeous and has luscious flavours. I suggest the banana split flavoured ice cream.

Hatchards bookshop in Piccadilly is amazing. Since 1797. There was a book signing nearly every day. I was so excited to meet Mary Berry. She was amazing. Just brilliant. I now have too many books weighing down our luggage.

London was pumping with Christmas. The streets were packed with people. The department stores were so busy you couldn’t walk ! Fortnum and Mason , Liberty, Selfridges, Harrods- all crazy but sooooo christmassy. Christmas carols were playing everywhere and the light displays - amazing.

Hadestown is the most perfect musical in London. Clever and flawless. We saw it in Sydney but the London version is much more tightly and expertly produced. The performers were perfect. We saw it twice. The circle is hot - dress accordingly or fall asleep.

The stage show of Hercules in London. We loved the characters of Hercules, Meg and the Muses. Unfortunately the show was a little sloppy and relied on dad jokes and sloppy innuendo. You can see it could be awesome, but I don’t think Disney cares. Great merch!

We have never seen a British Pantomime. So we went to see Sleeping Beauty at the Paladium - it was so much fun. Catherine Tate and Julian Clary. So naughty! Huge production -but not for children. Highly recommend.

We have been in London to see shows! We saw the Importance of Being Ernest, a play I love, but the London Production was farcical. Algi and Jack hyperactively bouncing on the stage. Not subtle or clever. Also it’s Cecily -Sicily is in Italy. Stephen Fry was good as Lady Bracknell. We left.

The new Christmas Parade in Tokyo Disney Sea. It’s cute and has sharp dancing. There is a dance to learn and it stops 3 times along the parade route! DPA sells out quickly.
