I'm all for toonslop UuU! Very well animated; I love how fluid and expressive it is! The squash and stretch add great dynamism :). It's qualityslop, ngl!

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Makes me wonder what a redraw of all the Gen 1 and Gen 2 sprites would look like like this, haha. Nice work x3!

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Funny thing is she wouldn't even really be that out of place artistically, haha. Zelda has always had various anthro species, so it wouldn't be that odd for her to run around in universe xD

Hope you have a wonderful birthday indeed, hehe. Very cute and wholesome pic <3

Pfft, that gave me a good chuckle; so wacky and toony XD. Always fun to see Roy in slapstick x3

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Very good animation with strong impact frames, haha. Poor Popple, what did he do xD

When your survival isn't tied to the thing (bills, etc.), and you're truly just doing it because you're passionate or love it, the quality really shines. It's not that I don't think we should want to be paid for our hard work or anything, but rather, having to depend on it changes the dynamic.

Yeah precisely to both of you. I said the same recently on a Youtube video about how people are going to have a harder time becoming (paid) Youtubers, since YT will be increasing the requirements in Februrary. But honestly, I'm hoping it'll shift things back to the 2000s for these things.

I'd rather continue working on my own games as a side hobby for now, then burn myself out of my passion, haha. This isn't to say it wouldn't be nice to be able to work on my own stuff full time, of course. 40 hours a week working for someone else is a lot. But stability is important.

130

That's precisely why I didn't want a full-time game developer gig myself. People were always like "Why not go work for a company like Nintendo or Sony" and I'm like "Have you SEEN the industry crunch!?"

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Such great expressionism and posing in this as always, haha! Just wanna boop and snuggle Ding <3

Always find it funny when toons don the outfits of characters of games they play, haha. Man if we had the ability to take selfies in Tomb Raider, the fail moments would be even funnier xD

130

An example I always like to give in this regard is Zelda Minish Cap. Link has 3 different waking up animations in that game, with a variation being for waking Ezlo up first, before putting him on and hopping out of the bed. It's stuff like THAT which really adds a lot to a game.

001

So while a game doesn't need to be hyperrealistic, HD 4K photorealism to be considered good, having a game that isn't an eyesore to look at, has lively animations for the characters and environments, and really makes the world look lush and feel lived in does make a big difference in the experience.

Well, I can see the style isn't for everyone; I guess many wanted something more like the original game's concept art style. I used to be in the camp of "the graphics don't really matter" as well, but I later changed my stance on that. They do really impact immersion and appeal of a game.

Very cute design, love how huggable and fluffy it looks <3

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

And of course, the messaging is sweet and wholesome <3. It's nice to see Doc's positive outlook on life having positive impacts on those around him; I try to do the same myself. It's not always easy, especially in the face of a tsunami of negativity, but I think it's crucial now more than ever ^^

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Just gave thos a read; I don't have an account there so I wanted to leave my thoughts here ^^. I love the rendering, first of all; you do really nice work on the paneling and backdrops. They're so vibrant a beautiful, yet simple and efficient too.

Iggy when turned into a marketable plushie-

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Feels like it's been forever since I've seen Rainer, hehe. Indeed, this is a great piece; good pose and expressionism x3!

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Also the cute toony art style and character design; that's just a bonus UuU. I'm always happy to see more toon artists ^u^.

It's a great movie, you'll love it ^^. I just saw it today myself; so glad it was saved from the jaws of death <3. Hope it gets a DVD or BluRay release for rurther preservation ^^

Maybe you just need to try one that has a different configuration? Like instead of PVP, PVE with potential teamwork? I've been playing a toon themed one by the same studio behind Acecraft, called Haunted Headlines. It's not available in US (I downloaded the APK), but I've been having fun.

Your art is still absolutely lovely; expressive, wholesome and cute. I love these ^u^

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

You're on a roll with these; your style and Cory's character design just makin' these all even cuter UuU

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Love all these pics you've been doing with Cory; he translates very cutely to your style ^^

Yeah it is odd they're doing opening day on a Friday, when kids would be in school I think. Tis fine though, we can go the very next day, Saturday, haha. I'm gonna go see it in theaters to help support Ketchup Entertainment for saving it :). At least I hope the theatre near me is showing it then.

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Just now seeing this, but it's a great wholesome piece <3. Not just the posing and expressionism, but I also like the ambient lighting you did here ^^

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

I like how he chad-srruts off afterwards with such confidence, haha. Anything can work if you put that much into it!

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

This is a fun and cute design, hehe! Love his outfit and expressions :). Would be fun to see what sort of shenanigans he gets into ^^. If you want a toony suggestion, could always give him a name that starts with R to go with being a rabbit, haha.

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Always a good time to see more cute toons, hehe, x3!

TamerKoh @tamerkoh.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

If only the characters who don't want to be part of the fantasy got to choose to leave, it'd be different, but unfortunately it was a "my way or the highway" situation for both sides. This is why I don't see Marche in the wrong, cause he's at least restoring people's lives who never got a choice.
