Doing a series on ‘why we hate women’, my next candidate was a victim of police ‘over enthusiasm’ to close a case. The case has since been overturned. here’s my issue; I don’t like the true crime genre. I want to avoid it becoming true crime & focus on the media’s role in the case Is this doable?

The High court will receive a challenge as these companies can afford to challenge this legislation & the 2nd reading speech specifically stated YouTube would be excluded, which the court must consider under the purposive approach to stat interpretation.

Things like the second reading speech form part of how legislation is interpreted by the court though, (the purposive approach to stat interpretation) so we can’t outright discount all of it. The second reading speech does specify allowances for exclusions and from memory YouTube was even mentioned

I didn’t say it excluded social media platforms that are educational, I said the government has stated YouTube will be excluded ‘because it’s educational’ which seems to be an arbitrary distinction they’ve made. & as I said this was based on answers given during question time.

I’m told we can’t do without capitalism cause folks couldn’t survive without it. Going back to pre industrial lifestyles would be too hard. But we ain’t surviving with it, & thousands are living outside of the system cause they have to. We’ll all have to soon enough, so better learn how now.
