I support pacifism, but others may need to fight if pushed to a civil war. At the very least, I suggest people get pepperspray and know their escape routes, or places to hide, study survival skills, self defense. There are ways to be a proactive pacifist and live another day.

Republicans have the majority in the supreme court, congress, and the senate. If we want the Democratic party to be progressive, more progressives need to run for office. If we want a strong opposition party, midterm elections are in 21 months

Trump wants to tax scholarships. He wants to attack young people seeking education. He is going to increase interest on student loans and imprison young people who tried to educate themselves. He is a fucking monster and I hope he will be blamed as well.

I instantly got misunderstood and blocked by people. I hate generative AI and the way it commits copyright infringement and theft and is destroying creatives. I wasn't praising the platform. I was acknowledging that available information being more corrupted by Musk would be awful.

I'm certainly wondering if this might be time (or past time) for more peaceful people on the left to arm themselves and get some weapons training for self defense. And maybe start privately strategizing outside of social media as well. The republican party is openly committing terrorism.

They're also in open defiance right now of Trump's calls to have peaceful protesters "quelled" by military force. And Trump and his people are threatening them. We need to get behind them if we care about keeping a country. It might be our last chance.

This is terrifying. I have multiple myeloma, and doctors are SO close to a cure with CAR-T cell gene therapy. They think they have just discovered how to find hiding regenerating cancer cells that rendered treatment ineffective over time. Stopping trials could cut my remaining lifespan by 90%. 🥺
