It's done! 58 new additions to my #fieldsofmistria #pixelart portrait collection, bringing the total to 141. Thank you to everyone that ordered a portrait! 💖 Should I stick to opening a few slots or just open up a Waitlist for everyone going forward? 💧

I had to slow down progress on comms this week since work needed me to suddenly design and pixel a bunch of monsters. Mistria portraits, revisiting a Godot project, animating a 2D stinger resumes tomorrow. ✨

I've been making these #fieldsofmistria style #pixel portraits for two years, and now that the game has finally left early access, I think it's time I plug this again. ✨ An additional 5 bucks gets you a talk variant! Feel free to order at my vgen: vgen.co/tamagotaho

Avoiding all caffeine today because I have to wake up really early tomorrow to prepare for some door repairs and I feel so sluggish and unfocused. 🥲

Happy Birthday to the awesome green gopher, @zikes.me! I didn't want to draw the usual circle of friends/vtubers this time so here's a bunch of other virtual streamers you follow and support. 💖

I've hinted at its existence a couple of times now, once with my 2025 showreel and my 2025 Twitter wrap-up, but here's the full MV cover of 'Buta Thunder' that I made for Mio last year. ✨ Hoping you're happy and healthy wherever you're at, Miori! 💖 #miorillust #animation

I've been having some back aches for the past few days from sitting too long and drawing, I might need to slow down for a bit and recover. 💧

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

I really should avoid incremental games. 🫠

I celebrated my birthday a week ago and as a thank you to everyone that greeted me on Twitter, here's a bunch of thank you art to each of them. 💖

I was driving on the freeway this afternoon and was thinking of merging behind a truck on the other lane when I noticed one of its tires started smoking and came off like a projectile. Totally dodged a bullet right there (in the shape of a tire).

Despite all the Souls games I've played, none of them give me as much adrenaline as playing Burnout Paradise while Eurobeat is blasting in the background. 💧

Besides a simple idle, I think I just need to add some transition frames to the run cycle and this is done? Then it's onto adding a dummy to receive all these hits (and then a hand drawn finisher animation). #pixel #animation featuring @kinnikubustaa.bsky.social's character Yukina.

New mouse arrives in three days, in the meantime I have to live without a properly functioning scroll wheel which I'm surprised affects me so much. 🥲

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

I was having problems with my mouse left click and read that it could be fixed if I spray the switch with some WD-40, and it worked! But I oversprayed a bit and I think I messed up my scroll wheel. 🥲

Sudden shock to hear a loud garbled noise after pressing my media play hotkey, turns out instead of Spotify it chose to play my Youtube tab of a Gears of War Lancer firing at .25x speed because I needed to study the muzzle flash for an animation. 💧

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

I impulsively bought a can of Sloppy Joes thinking it was like baked beans where everything was in the can ready to be cooked. I had no idea it was just sauce and I'm out of ground beef. 💧 I've clearly never had a Sloppy Joe sandwich before.

Almost bought the annual EX upgrade pass for Clip Studio until I remembered I could try an APNG converter to fix this strange artifacting problem Discord has with GIF stickers that have no anti-aliasing at their border.

Feeling a little better after slowing down a bit for the past few days and getting a bit more active again, I may have to observe my diet as well, maybe my lactose problems have gotten worse? Whatever the case, I continue to live. ✨

Woke up feeling horribly bloated today. Thank goodness I recently found my hot compress pack.😢

This stinger for @spookziepunzie.bsky.social was something I've been holding on to for about a year? Their new outfit is really pretty and it's always lovely working with Spookzie. 💖

Tried removing my CPU's old thermal paste and accidentally got a bit on the pins. Cleaned it with a toothbrush dipped in alcohol and I'm hoping I got it all out or I've got one dead CPU in my hands. 🥲

130

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Okay, I finally figured out why my CPU was frequently ramping up and it had to do with a deeply hidden CPU setting that required editing the registry to show up and disable. Now even if I rapidly bring up Spotify or scroll through something like ebay, my CPU temp stays in the mid 50s. ✨

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Reinstalled Windows 11 for now since I realized I can't commit to Linux at the moment due to a few work deadlines that'd get derailed with possible tinkering. Now my CPU temps somehow keep ramping up and down at the slightest bit of action. Thanks Microslop! 🫠

I've mostly been manga only with One Piece so certain moments don't feel as emotionally impactful as they should to me, that being said the live action Chopper backstory just had me ugly crying, my pure boy. 🥲

020

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Updated my Windows 11 and suddenly 95% of my programs got uninstalled. Is it time to step back into Linux again? 💧

Henlo! I've updated my vgen with new animated emotes and reopened all my old ones! If you're interested, please visit vgen.co/tamagotaho to place an order! 💖

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Okay, Clip Studio's keyframe tween system is pretty handy dandy in making modular animations. 💖

010

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

I have to spend today converting my Photoshop animated emote templates to Clip Studio. I'll surely be extra familiar with Clip's animation setup after all this. ✨

020

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Still can't bring myself to upgrade to Clip Studio EX. I wish they'd split the manga and animation suite to help bring down the price. That said, I also can't upgrade to 5.0 until I'm sure it can run okay on Linux since I might try CachyOS next time. 👀

Internally screaming and crying at having to pay taxes, especially knowing where it's likely going to.

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 04/03/2026

The last time I tried a Pop Tart was around 2004 and gosh, this Maple Cinnamon one I just had is too much for me that I'll probably not have any for another two decades at this rate. 💧

Time to be extra adult and take care of taxes. 💧

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

I can start coloring this tomorrow but I need to finish some walk cycles for a different project and a few tilesets for another project. Also testing out a sketch for a proper PNGtuber model. ✨

050

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

Yay! Waiting 24 hours seems to have reset my license switching attempts, I can now use Clip Studio with no worries again. ✨

050

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

I'll sadly have to switch back to Windows as my main for now. With the help of friends, I managed to get my Ampligame D6 and Clip Studio working but CSP was too clunky for me that I can't work properly in it. I did manage to get this sketch done though, with a LOT of struggle. 🥲

2171

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

Me deleting Krita and all Adobe products from my system so I can just main Clip Studio Paint and Aseprite once and for all. Then CSP deals me this card because I switched installs too much while trying to get it to work on Linux. 💧

220

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Well, I have a lot to tinker around with it seems but so far the biggest problem I've encountered is my (not) Elgato Streamdeck, the Ampligame D6 doesn't have Linux drivers and isn't supported in Opendeck. 💧

030

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Should I dual boot Linux Mint for the time being to test the waters or is it better to just dive in completely once my work queue is complete?

120

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

I've been having bouts of palpitations for the past couple of days so it's time to keep myself in check again. 🥲

010

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

I probably should have gotten Aseprite outside of Steam all those years ago because I can't be on the Steamdeck and Aseprite at the same time without being offline on one device. 💧

010

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Well, looks like Adobe Animate is at end of life so I'm going to have to definitely pivot my pipeline and alternate lesson content. CSP (or maybe Krita?) and Aseprite is surely one half but I'm wondering if I should make the other half with DaVinci resolve or Godot?

A little animation done for @zeropointalan over at Twitter, featuring their Space Ranger, Thalia Moonbeam. 💖

So tired after a very long day of errands and sorting out groceries after getting home. I don't even have it in me to draw a single frame tonight so I'll just continue reading some more JJK. 🥲

010

Taho @tamagotaho.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

I accidentally sliced a bit of my fingertip open trying to pry apart the metal ring on the back of my phone case. Now it stings to draw. 🥲

I tried watching Morbius a couple of days ago just to see how bad it really was and I stuck through almost all the way to the end but got so fed up that I fast forwarded through the final battle. I'm never ever going to Morb again.
