I am a little upset tbh! After sewing the same piece incorrectly twice, I thought I had it the correct way round That was, of course, until I realised the entire piece was in the wrong place I so badly need to get better at labelling my patterns

And we have a fan! Current install isn't permanent, I need to grab hook and loop (Velcro-branded, maybe? :P) so that the battery box stays in place but is removable for easier cleaning The fan itself pushes into place and can be removed relatively easily just by pulling downwards

Little more progress today, both sets of bottom teeth are now done, I just have one more set of top teeth to do Fun fact! Sergals have 12 teeth, 6 on top and 6 on the bottom, and they're all along the side of the mouth, none at the front

I'm so happy with how this head is going! I just need to paint the iris and pupil then I can glue the eye pieces together :> The eyelid only needs fur and eyeliner which is an easy job

Working out the sorta shape I want for the eyeliner (haven't worked out the piece around the eye yet though!) and this feels pretty good to me I could airbrush or use black fur instead but I don't think it would give me the crisp edge I'm after

Testing out welding mask headgear to hold the sergal base onto my head, and it's incredible how well it works So much nicer than trying to use a cut-up cap like on V1

I made a small mistake with the pattern and didn't notice until I'd already cut and sewn the fur, but the cheeks will just be fully white I'm so silly sometimes! But this is a personal suit so it's all good

Logo is still in the works but will eventually change my icon to that In the meantime? Here's a couple WIPs of the head I'm working on now. Base is a slightly modified Kloofsuits fox and @foxglovelys.bsky.social helped massively with the fur design!
