That being said, if any Godot contributors are reading this: Look over the blender import pipeline. The animation player can break easily during refactor. Documentation surrounding creating custom Engine tools are lackluster or just missing. exported Packedscenes in GraphEdit have fake duplicates.

Like here for instance, Magnesium Dioxide with 4 Hydrogen free radical atoms have a reversible equilibrium reaction to form Magnesium and 2 water atoms, as well as 2 free electrons? I can't say this is any chemistry I'm familiar with past the symbols.

Game development has continued in the background. Got some funky systems sorted out like Saving/Loading, and less boring stuff as well like the ability to hide secrets from the player :> Still a bit rough, that will change with art! Next development goal is a complete combat overhaul!

What kind of state system did you end up going for? I've tried two with Godot; one that was very "Switch statement inside a single file" which is fine, but the player script is big enough that it's hard to work on with how complex the player is. The other is each state has it's own node and script
