New pen day. Pilot Volex pocket pen, medium nib stamped H578 that shouldmean May 1978. I wanted this for the reverse falcon shaped nib. It writes well, very wet. #fountainpens

Found some my favorite orchids while hiking in this cool dry weather, not normal for August. Tipularia discolor, crane fly orchid. They look like ghosts floating above the ground. Hard to see until you form a search image, then they're everywhere.
