A Practical Pimoroni Presto Project blog.talktech.info/a-practical-... #Pimoroni #Presto #Project #Pico #Python #MicroPython #Media #NowPlaying

The image shows a digital display screen, likely part of a music player or audio interface, with a black border. The screen displays the title "Queen / Bohemian Rhapsody - Live Aid" at the top, followed by "Bohemian Rhapsody (The Original Soundtrack)" in smaller text. Below the text, there is an album cover featuring a silhouette of a person performing on stage against a sunset background, with the album title "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY" prominently displayed in yellow text. At the bottom of the screen, there are two buttons: a green "Pause" button on the left and an orange "Skip" button on the right. The background of the image is dimly lit, with a glimpse of a keyboard or control panel with labeled buttons such as "GP0," "GP1," "Ground," "GP2," "VBU," "VST," and "VS" visible at the bottom. The overall setting suggests a music production or performance environment.

More done Massive thanks to @gadgetoid.com for spinning a new firmware on a weekend! I can't express my gratitude! So now a new look! using the vector graphics mode in full resolution. The button text changes to show play or pause Long track titles now truncated. Got lots and lots still to do!

A touch screen that is mainly black colour
There is text "Walk the Moon" and "Shut up and Dance" displayed along with a green button with a label "Pause" in white text at the bottom of the display.

Thanks to @gadgetoid.com and others the code is no longer crashing WITHOUT REASON! there are still crashes to code out! I've also switched to using #Presto Vector as I can then label the buttons and it looks a lot nicer. I am also now using full res mode as there is not a need for high-speed!

Basic functionality is coming along nicely! Now I have a play/pause button that actually works. Still lots and lots to do. But this now gives me basic something to use when I am playing #Spotify during the #WFH day. Code is nowhere near ready to share yet. Let me know if you are interested!

So this weekend, I decided to to some tech stuff. I have setup my #Pimoroni #CosmicUnicorn up with Cosmic Emoji code from Chris Carey github.com/chriscareyco.... I also used #NginxProxyManager to password protect and open the app up to them using one of my many domains.
