Loop being amused by how stupid Siffrin is, and then the slow dawning realisation that this means they're that stupid too.

"Sturdy looking." The sarcasm was unappreciated, but perhaps not unwarranted. Loop held out a closed fist and muttered something under their breath, and the raft lurched forward as if pushed by an invisible hand. Amara definitely sensed some kind of magic, but it was unfamiliar.

"Definitely NOT your forte, Stardust. Don't strain yourself!" A playful boop to Siffrin's nose. Slow enough that he had time to acknowledge it was happening, but fast enough that he couldn't interrupt.

"Probably! But hey, new potential lead, magic trees can make things subtly different. That's... Not nothing!" It's effectively nothing. "Aw, cheer up, Stardust! You're at least finding /something/ new every time you loop. Progress is progress!"

"Hmm..." A long, dramatic pause. Tension hangs in the air, clearly Loop knows something, then? "No idea~!" Oh, right, of course. Loop is a blinding idiot.

" 'Mimic's Maw', huh?" They muse to themselves, before glancing back up at the sky and shrugging. "Beats the cold." They mutter, opening the door and stepping inside.

"But then again..." They pause for a moment, remembering the details of what happened. "Your Researcher asked the Favor Tree to win that coin toss, right? For her little 'experiment'~? Maybe that's what caused it to be random even across looping."
