Pay attention to the language that will be used by much of the media. The Global Sumud Flotilla never entered Israeli waters. They are in international waters attempting to reach Palestinian waters. Israel is once again breaking international law

I finished undergrad in 2020 and I thought finding a job then was the crappiest it could be but I was wrong finishing my Masters and trying to find a job in 2024/2025 is somehow worse.

You could probably also make an argument about non-practicing Christians vs practicing bc if we include Northern Europe and Western Europe more broadly denominations vary but all have rapidly declined in terms of visibility

imo the most egregious part of it is that the conclusions ppl draw from it are 1. Ppl in the US are powerless to apply pressure on the govt at any level 2. You cant judge anything China does bc the US is also horrible. breeding both defeatism & a refusal to engage w/ the world outside the US
