Current game design endeavor: now that monster traits are done it’s time to make MONSTERS. We currently have a list of 101 monsters being put into the main core rulebook. This system has the ability to make your own from scratch so having an exstensive list is not at nessesary. 1/2 #indie #TTRPG

Monsters will have a set list of “types” that will give them innate characteristics and abilities and their types will give them access to traits, which allows the creature to further change / improve what they do. Working on getting all of the 20 types to have 10 traits each for the full game

Current game design mission: finishing up monster traits. In my modular system it’s designed so players and guides and easily design and build their own monster, and easily adjust their difficulty level. Part of how this works is the Traits system!

But for the insane development cycle and completely tone deaf development of the game. GTA failing would be the first major step to a better tomorrow for gaming as a whole. Hopefully leading to shorted dev times. More complete visions. And games that are truly special. Even if graphics suffer.

Increasing realism and actively trying to virtue signal in a game like this will only alienate that player base while never fully satisfying the extended list of possible players they are trying to entice. I genuinely hope this game completely fails. Not for any hatred of rockstar or GTA as a game

You know the racists on call of duty type in the mid 2000 gamer. This is not me knocking on anyone who enjoys the games and I firmly believe violent and criminal games are good outlets for aggressive people and can help them be less so. THAT BEING SAID.

GTA has a very specific target audience. Though I don’t wish to generalize a lot of people that I know that actively enjoy the games are Delinquents or aggressive bachelors. Huge exceptions to this yes. But the VAST majority of the sales for such a game sits in that region of gamer

It will look like nihilism for a little bit. Let’s be clear about that. And it’s not a state to be in forever. But take a month to not worry about bigger issues and just focus on surviving. Or if you have a long term problem you wanna solve, split it into smaller manageable chucks and stay constant

I thought I’d have a house. A moderately successful game or 2. Or something. But I simple graduated at the wrong time (dec 2020) and have a lot in my way What helps me is knowing everyone works at a different pace. And what matters is keeping a pace, not when you cross the finish line.
