Working on some enhanced Steam integration stuff, including full support of SteamInput and Remote Play Together. I can update the UI glyphs to match the input device seamlessly, and prevent the Remote Play participants from using the main menu to mitigate griefing. I made custom icons, too! #gamedev

An early look at 🖱 mouse support for Superstar Strategy. Rotary menus can be rotated with the scroll wheel, and the menu style toggle lets you use rotary or carousel styles depending on how you'd rather control them. The Main Menu has also been overhauled to be more accessible.

Adding a system for sentry units that spot an enemy to alert nearby allies, and also enable waking sentries via a switch/cutscene/sideEffect trigger, which will enable some cool opportunities for dynamic mid-map events.

In the Steam version of Steelbreakers, you'll be able to swap between pan+zoom (Smash Bros-style) camera to splitscreen whenever you want via the pause menu. Larger levels benefit from splitscreen, while tighter spaces may be better for sharing the camera.

When your game is bright and cute visually, but actually fairly complex mechanically, giving the player more information in context is pretty key. In my tactics game, you can preview a unit's AI behaviour, Status Effects, Inventory and even read a few gameplay tips for how to use or defeat a unit.
