In the US, they put bible verses on fast food packaging. In Germany, my ice pop is definitely suggesting that autofellatio would bring me joy.

“Dafuq is this… I’m just a dog, I can’t read ö.,ö” Nobody told me becoming a Greek god would involve THIS much paperwork. Just me being silly in my role as Dimeios at @furciety.de

Takeru, the fluffy border collie fursuiter with floppy ears, is dressed in a Greek god costume with white and golden fabric, portraying Dimeios the god of dreams (based on the story telling stage play at Furciety). He sits at a table staring in confusion at an ancient scroll spread out in front of him. His expression and body language give off strong “completely overwhelmed by paperwork” energy.

The last few days were a complete blur, with my social media silence usually being a good indicator of me not having much time to post. Furciety was a lot more stressful than usual, but it was still a good experience, and I'm glad to have met as many old and new friends as I did.

Fun fact: @takiwuff.bsky.social was the main character of the con theme and the play shown during the opening and closing ceremony. I hope you'll soon be able to see the properly recorded version, rather than what I recorded with a potato.

Off to @furciety.de on Wednesday! The con theme is a Greek "Duel of the Gods". Kinda fitting that I'm sending the protagonists of our room through the Olymp(ia). Featuring @lumisnep.bsky.social, @sasa-paws.bsky.social, @takiwuff.bsky.social, and me. Thanks to @sanssouci.bsky.social for the arts!

Photo of the same thing from Taki's side, probably also with better camera settings and added filters. Looking very much better than mine!

What we originally set out to do: Get groceries. What also ended up happening: @takiwuff.bsky.social spotting acorns that already sprouted roots in rather hopeless spots, picking them up on the way home, waiting until dark, stealing soil from a nearby forest, and planting our new children.

Photo of Taki digging up an acorn from the side of the road, with one having managed to take root in the tiny gap between two curb sections where the cycle and pedestrian paths intersect. He also had that shopping basket for longer than we've been together, which says a lot about how many shoppings and cons it experienced.

Photo of Taki planting the acorns in flower pots with soil we just stole from a nearby forest, as I couldn't be bothered to move my car out of my fave parking spot to buy a much too large and expensive amount of flower soil at the hardware store. Please excuse the mess in the background. The balcony is going to be resurfaced soon, then I'll put everything back to where it normally resides.
