Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I think it’s because it’s not trying to be a pastiche of any particular era/sound of country so much as the “idea” of country paired with a dated pop sound. 120
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 20/08/2026The music is definitely bad but it’s at least an interesting (and distressingly catchy) flavor of bad! 000
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 15/08/2026I have a top 25 that’s basically set in stone but it’s one project per artist and things get kinda shaky once I start adding multiple projects 000

Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 27/05/2026I would challenge any person to name a line from Eminem’s “Crack a Bottle” or Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart” 000
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 13/03/2026I really liked the production at least but idk if it’s something that I’ll be revisiting anytime soon. 010
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 07/03/2026Bruno will always have that casual/40+ demographic on his side, so his numbers will remain solid overall. I don’t think Harry really has that audience on lock yet 000
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 04/03/2026- Drake - Nicki Minaj - Taylor Swift - Ariana Grande - Kendrick Lamar - Kanye (you start with 2009 VMAs and go from there) 020
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 10/02/2026And the songs are actually good too! Remember when good songs used to be hits? 020
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 05/02/2026She’s still going to upload it on YouTube on Sunday so it’s not like it’s gonna be completely unavailable 050
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 02/02/2026It’s a cool pivot in terms of sound but I don’t think it works as a “single” and will probably be better in the context of the album 000
Christian @takesomesamples.bsky.social · 26/01/2026Sabrina being lower than Kendrick, SZA, & Bad Bunny does make some sense but below Taylor? That’s a goddamn travesty 020
