All of Google's apps now are buggy crashing lagging POSs, clearly AI vibes have taken hold. Their solution is of course by multi thousand dollar phones to hide the inefficiencies. And of course it's not just Google, most apps and games these days just don't work well. I used to like technology.

Oof, glad I checked reviews on Nivalis Nights first. Even on an RTX 5090 the game is averaging 30ish fps on low settings... Dang that's disappointing. So I'll be holding off for awhile. Otherwise it looks really good. 🍜🐺🌃

It still amuses me how many of these are sequels, but goes to show when done right they can be just as good if not better. Still so many to list, ie L4D, Anno, F.E.A.R., games that got 'spinoffs' like Battlefield 2142, Bioshock, and Beyond Earth. But these were the major ones for sure. 💻🐺 #My9Games

My nine games that mean a lot to me and shaped who I am: SimCIty 3000, The Sims 1, Caesar 3, System Shock 2, battlefield 2, WarCraft2, Valve's The Orange Box, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Civilization 4.

Will be losing my healthcare with the upcoming work requirements. Because of all the life insanity we've had to deal with and still are, working a stereotypical 9-5 isn't possible atm, nor in the immediate future. Such is life in the zone, aka this hell hole of a nation. 🤷

Tbh I'd love a built-in fall protection ladder on the side of the house, people freak out over aesthetics but imagine being able to get on the roof and do cleaning/repairs yourself much more safely. Just a shame a decent one goes for like two grand. Ugh.

takashiwolf.bsky.social @takashiwolf.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Roof cleaning and gutter clearing is such an intense activity. The upper act itself takes hours, but then there's also dealing with the cleanup below. Glad I was able to get a mild overcast day before incoming rain. Current roof has a few more good years left, but replacement time is forthcoming. 💸

Here's a few samples of the diagrams in the lesson. The primer is available to all patrons, so you can have access to it for just $3 a month!

A diagram showing the Pecs (Pectoralis Major), with its functions (lifting the arm forward, adducts the arm, medially rotates the arm) and additional illustrations showing how the muscle moves in various poses.

A diagram showing the Triceps, its parts (the lateral head, the long head, and the big tendon covering its end), and how it looks in its flexing and relaxed states.

A diagram showing the adductor muscle group of the inner thighs, showing its function (adducts the legs), and additional illustrations showing how it looks depending on the rotation of the thigh. Plus a little drawing of mannequin-kun crushing a watermelon between his thighs.

A diagram of the Deltoids, showing the rear, middle, and front heads, where it inserts between the biceps and brachialis, and how its size is a factor in making a character look huge and masculine.

Such an interesting time in history where you can 'meet' and get to know someone, and yet will never see them in reality. I've known people for decades, and have never seen a photo of them, or know their actual name. Which makes it all the harder when they just stop appearing one day.

I feel like if Bungie made Marathon compatible with SteamOS/Linux it would be a good signal of future goodwill and support. But perhaps the engine just isn't able of doing such, since even with all the success Density 2 was. They're gonna have to do something, season 3 leaks look promising at least.
