I finally saw the famous Taitung Blue, even for a short period of time. Then, the weather turned overcast again. After walking 109 km in 4 days, I developed a huge blister. It hurts 🫠

This was my first high-mountain solo hike, Yushan North Peak. Due to the weather, I had to hike from Tataka Trailhead to the North Peak on the 18th. Luckily, I could catch the last patch of the blue sky before the clouds took over. I’m sure I'lldo this hike again. #Taiwan

Mt. Zhijiayang hike in a day isn’t for everyone, but the hard work paid off. This is the old route to hike Xueshan, the second-highest mountain in Taiwan. Mt. Zhijiayang is also my 32nd Beiyue (100 Peaks).

Mianyue Line, the most beautiful rail trail in Alishan. It’s easier than I thought and very enjoyable to hike. Permits are required, but not difficult to apply. A headlamp is a must to do this hike. bit.ly/4ipKWbc
