OMG I got the okay to post the band art once its done omg!! YAY, and I already have ideas for merch.

Tainted.Sweet.Meats @taintedsweetmeats.bsky.social · 13h

Though the nu-metal band loved my furry work a ton, these were the pieces shown that got their attention. which were all my cultural inspired pieces💖 The women with rose called "destain in vanity" was my ace for them to form an idea to work with me.

When non-furries love my furry work, that really gets me in a good mood cause at my core I am a furry, and it's a big part of me creative wise!

I am so proud of myself for putting my work out there. I will be working with a bipoc nu-metal band from Atlanta. They love my personal art and hell even my furry work. I feel so humbled to even get a shot like this to work with other BIPOCs let alone in the music industry.

Seeing the Blasian vs Wasian debate again in IG makes me tired, and I'm like, we know why Wasians get the most attention and are the face of mixed asians in the media now. WE KNOW WHY. If they can't even treat the Seablings any good, why did we expect them to even look at us Blasians with any worth?

Finally finished my gloom dog PIP aka pretty in pink. He is a Pekingese mainly because I think the breed itself is super unique. I rarely ever see anyone draw these lil guys for ocs. Drew him in his feral form to show off his markings and an anthro head to show off his pigtail ears.

A Pomeranian husky hybrid, a Pomeranian, and an Akita. I got one more to add to the mix. Might finish my gloom dog ocs and bring back a few others from the past.

An oc thats been in my brain for a while now, and I finally put him to paper and slapped some color on him. Introducing Brite, the sparkledog. I haven't drawn a true blue sparkle dog since the 2000's. He's an Akita, and I wanted an oc for a while now with rainbow hair : P

Already setting up the #nsfw section on my site, and I feel pretty liberated. Some feedback on both the consent page and the regular actual xxx art page would be great tho. Thoughts?

I'm really thinking of setting up an erotica page for my website since a lot of social media is beyond controlling and weird with basic nsfw art. I miss drawing nsfw stuff with my ocs🥲

Speaking of fursona, mine has been with me since 2007-2008 but grew with me over time. I'm a jaguar/fox hybrid. The nature is definitely a fox who is playful, while the jaguar side...think of those plump ones at the zoo that love boops and free food. Tis me Fashion is goth/nu-metal of the 2000s

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!

a drawing by ken sample of the character ken cougar

Ken cougar on a Ken Sample portfolio #1. Ken cougar is inbetween two female furries. On the left is a fox and on the right is a cheetah! There are other drawings scattered in the backround

Went to a goth event with my poly and it was the best event ever. DJ Baby Berlin is by far the best dj in town. NTM this event was queer-friendly, no gendered bathrooms, and full of life. I need to go to another Synthetics party ASAP

Having art friends from the golden days of online art is like.. We were THERE together in the trenches trying to support each other's passions socially... While IRL we were just the weirdos who drew pictures no one cared about.

Looking at that post, I have been online since 1998 (when I found the fandom actually)... I started posting my art online 2000 on the dot. I was so young but even then when I hit 13 I started taking commissions....
