I just finished inking this. Probably gonna finish it tomorrow. It’s a 1st person view of the first dungeon in my game! #wip #traditionalart #conceptart #gameart #environmentart #gamedev #indiedev #rpg #roguelike #tailsofempyria

This is just the variable It’s like 7 or 8 pages, but the pages are rather small cause it’s not a really large notebook. Have not even begun writing the functions but it’s already looking good! #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #godotdev #coding #programming #TailsofEmpyria

made a version of the mockup in engine to learn shaders. To me at least, Shaders are the black belt of game programming. I think I did pretty well! #gamedev #godot #shaders #indiedev #programming #gameart

Got the first tileset almost fully made. the game looks great already! Although this is just a mockup using it. It's the same style as the ones from #PMD explorers too! Just higher res! #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #mockup #pixelart #tileset #gameart #TailsofEmpyria

Geez it took me a while to see it but I definitely unconsciously took inspiration from the ode from soulframe for the designs of the main antagonists for my game. Especially the theater mask-like metallic helmets #gamedev #rpg #indiedev #conceptart #villain #inspiration

Here’s the storyboard for a single cutscene in the game. Making the final version will be a lot of work but it will be worth it! #animation #indiegame #gamedev #furry #merfolk #merfur #kemono #storyboard Images 1-4:

Worked pretty hard today in the engine. Got all of the main menu buttons implemented, albeit with varying degrees of functionality, but my favorite aspect of what I did? They glow when you hover over them! #gamedev #godot #TailsofEmpyria #coding #UI
