I'm in the same spot. My last dog was one of a kind. I'm not asking for the same dog again, but the same ballpark and it's so difficult. But I know that if I found one before, it can happen. Who knows when though, that's the tough part.

I get frustrated. It's an easy car to work on, but then something little like not having the maneuverability to get both ends of a nut and bolt while laying under the car making 2 hours of work for nothing. Would be a 10 minute job with a lift.

R/C car stuff. Finally finished. Bought it used as it's out of production and hard to find. But it needed a lot of work and parts to bring it back to spec. More stuff wrong with it than any used full size car I've ever purchased.

There's a grey fox couple that lives on my property even though I live in town, they've found rat heaven as my landlord treats the place like a junkyard. They do a good job though, a lot better than any of the stray cats around.

Local r/c shop sucks so much now. Went there twice looking to spend a fair bit of money and walked away empty both times. 90% of the shelf space has been bought out by one specific brand that has a reputation for predatory tactics like that. There used to be plenty of space dedicated to each brand.
