23:30, I did it, 1000 days studying 1540 🇯🇵 kanjis with writing tests only. Takes about 50' every day. The last time I did a 1000-days streak was ~4 years ago with Anki, and it didn't last long after that. I have to keep going until I know the 2300 most common ones... Good luck on your goals too!

Crazy schedule from 7am to 6pm today, and nothing work related. When you have 3 kids doing 3 activities in 3 different places and you have to juggle all of that. And one has swim competition all day, but the swimming pool closes at lunch break 🤣 Hopefully they'll enjoy themselves.

My fridge. Am I gonna have enough rice? My wife's restaurant is throwing out unsold cooked rice at the end of each day. We're trying to save and eat as much as we can (free rice for the whole residence lol). Her restaurant is not an exception, they are all doing that. Such a waste of food.

In order to verify that an order or command actually came from the proper authority, a piece of bamboo was broken in half, with the person to receive orders or commands taking one half, while the other was left with the proper authority. When an order or command was sent, the authority that had the other half of the piece of bamboo sent it with the orders so that the receiver could verify the authenticity by making sure the two pieces of bamboo fit together.

Today I went to help my brother install solar panels on his roof. 8 panels, each 20kg. This was a real challenge. I'm glad we made it back alive. He's now electricity self-sufficient, providing for his house and car, 24/7 (with batteries) For just 720€ and a day of efforts. Good for him 😊

After 6 weeks without practicing sport, I went for a run. Had a lot of fun until km 20, finding animals and dishes along the way. Past that point, going back home was hellish. Toulouse Marathon in November, I better train seriously now. Nothing's impossible when you put your mind to it 🔥
