Sending me an email should cost the sender $1. I should be able to cancel the charge trivially, and will do so for any email that I consider legit. That would cut my spam to near zero, and I'll make a few bucks from the spammers. Put the cost on the perp.

Needs to wait until he can say "This is old news". Or wait for Trump to say something he can "stand behind fully".

I was calling him President Pondscum, but Fuckface works well. He really leans into the low IQ bully posture, it makes you want to kick out one of his legs just to wipe the scowl off his face.

I'm listening to Deep Medicine by Eric Topol, a book published in 2019, in which he describes new (at the time) company OpenAI as a company founded to promote AI safety and to assure that AI always serves mankind. Sam Altman seems to have gone through some changes since then.

You can call your machines Terminators. It'll be so cool. I'm trying to think of a name you can invent for the control software, drawing a blank.

Using Netanyahu as a source is extremely poor form. Everything is spin to support his own situation, truth is not even an option. Talk to someone who can be trusted.

The color Green will henceforth be known as "Red" and the color Red will henceforth be known as "Green" and anyone using the names incorrectly will be subject to disciplinary action.

Removing the ability to issue "executive orders" would be a great thing. They sucked when Obama did them, they sucked when Biden did them and they are a tool of massive abuse and cruelty under Trump. The ability to order Americans to do whatever you just thought up one minute ago is un-American.

Senate Republicans consider their offices to be their personal property to use as they see fit. They are not public servants and do not work for their constituencies. They vote as they are told to vote, and trade stocks.

The obvious follow-up question is whether these people are actually this stupid or do they think that we are that stupid?

The NYT notes that it is fraud to apply for subsidized Obamacare if your income is too low (below the poverty level). I had to read that twice to make sure I got it right. The theory was that you would instead get free Medicaid, but then SCOTUS said states don't have to provide free Medicaid.

We've shown the world that a treaty signed by America will be ripped up as soon as we elect the next bozo. Peanuts hasn't been current in years and we all know about Lucy and the football. Trust that took generations to build up was trashed in the Trump's first year back in office.

Because encouraging division in your neighbor makes us no longer care that Howard Lutnick visited Epstein's island and lied about it, gave Epstein his NYC apartment for $1 and has a lot to lose when the full files are published. Because Trump can immolate Lutnick any time he wants to.

That's weird, because the SC was so helpful when the East Wing was threatened. After all, once the election has been stolen, there's nothing to be done, so it's all good in the end.

Trump said he picked Kevin Warsh because "he's very handsome". Jerome Powell was "right out of central casting" but maybe not quite the hunk that Warsh is. Trump's filters have evaporated.

The trebuchet was an incredible weapon with range like nothing ever seen before. Today's "missiles" are unreliable and complicated, you'd need to have gone to MIT to know which button to press. We need to rip out the missile systems and go back to reliable trebuchet technology for national security.

It would be interesting to know which of Trump's job performance areas are most appealing to the 79% of Republicans who approve. The war? The corruption? The price of everything? Or maybe the cruelty? "You're fake news, don't ever talk." "Shut up, Piggy." Makes you feel all warm inside.
