2/2 Tonight I got to see the new #ResidentEvil. This movie got deep under my skin, hitting that spot where you’re not just creeped out, you’re scared and having a blast. Absolutely amazing film, I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you’re a fan of his other works, Barbarian and Weapons.

1/2 I can remember being around 7, maybe 8, parked in front of a tv at my aunt’s watching Nightmare On Elm Street and that obsession with it, dreading the next scene but unable to look away. It’s been a long fucking time since a horror movie has gotten to me and I have loved them my whole life.

Hey soooo I lost my job 💀 I'm running a sale to support myself while I search for a new job. Literally everything in my shop (🔗 in 🧵) is on sale, including a few things not pictured in the graphic. Everything is 40% indefinitely.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry 🫂 I lost my damn job last year and I’m still doing gig work while I look for a new one (Texas unemployment is really high rn). It’s rough out there. I hope things work out quickly for you and that you land a new job asap!

It looks so good. My ex hubby keeps talking it up and I definitely think I need to play when it goes live in November. I miss the days of endless raiding, but yeah..life makes that kind of time sink impossible now!

010

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Are you going to play it once it goes live? I miss WoW so badly. Last time I really played and got invested was back during my raid days throughout TBC and Wrath. I quit when Cataclysm dropped. Is Forever actually as good as it looks? My ex said it is, but yk..ex for a reason, I don’t trust him, lol

The trailer gave me so many happy, excited, nervous feels. I love the angst of Stolitz, particularly with Stolas seeming to create some distance and explore himself. Love the random Wally appearance (my favorite character), love the direction they’re going in with relationships, and ALSO Vassago 😍

Because it’s their server and THEIR responsibility as mods for it to remove bad actors. While I support a new merch server, this isn’t the attitude to go into it with. There needs to be accountability from mods who protect proven and documented predators vs putting that onus on members to block.

my 2 cents about the hazpin server situation: sucks that the mods got death threats…but tbh, idk what the fuck they (or anybody else) expected after protecting a r*pist/predator. 🤷 idk what to tell ppl except make a better server with mods that have basic morals & a backbone.

typical of the hellaverse fandom to care more about meaningless shipping discourse or old hazbin merchandise or pin trading than the fact that there is a self admitted statutory rapist in this fandom who was also /protected by the moderators who ran the hazpin merchandise server to begin with/

42912

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Y E S. I keep screaming this from the rooftops and so many popular artists keep trying to “but the doxxing” as if that’s somehow worse than these mods protecting a documented predator? I don’t want anyone harmed, of course, but I worry more about victims of actual crimes than a merch server.

2 things can be true at once 1. The hazpin mods should be held accountable for keeping a rapist in their server 2. Death threats and doxxing are never acceptable under any circumstances, as it does nothing to fix the issue

Omg, Poppy 😍 I've been growing so obsessed with WH as of late

110

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I have spoken about Hazpin before and it bears repeating: that was a toxic discord. Did they deserve to be threatened? No. Nor did the people asking for that individual to be removed deserve to be ignored, however. Don't claim a space is safe if you won't back that up and Hazpin was NEVER safe.

0130

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Some of the shit I've seen in this corner of the Hazbin fandom is actually insane to me. People will jump through any hoops to protect their friends, and it's legit concerning. Be there for your buddies, sure, but also hold them accountable for making bad decisions that adversely affect others.

1121

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

When you have too many people on staff who play favorites that way, it’s never going to stay all business, unfortunately. I wish it were the case bc I only want to collect merch, drama is so fucking stupid, but a small group hold a lot of influence and use it to protect terrible people.

010

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

That alone should’ve had them shut down. Lin was the catalyst for the implosion but they were not the instigator and both are bad parties but I see a whole lot of “but doxxing” as if protecting a known predator isn’t just as just as bad.

010

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I didn’t say anything was incorrect. I also didn’t say it was shut down over nothing. Lin was in the wrong, true, but the bigger issue to ME, is the fact an entire staff team on a very popular discord were willing to let a predator continue being in that space regardless of what the members said.

110

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

That’s why accountability and communication are so vastly important. Nobody apparently knew Lin had a history of harassing because someone probably said “they’re cool” and that was it. They are terrible, true, but the heart of the matter is the lack of transparency from the staff team to begin with.

000

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

The way the staff handled it by ignoring the issue and defending a predator or the way the members responded to that attempt at silencing? I agree that threats are wildly uncalled for, but I won’t let that extremism from a couple bad parties be the focal point.

000

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

And will they ever learn? No. They’ll go quiet for a while and make a new server. Be very careful who you associate with online, especially in this fandom. Don’t share personal info, don’t welcome them into your life past an online persona. Sticking up for shitty people is ruining Hazbin. 2/2

040

taco @tacozombie.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

As much as I love the Hellaverse, I find the online community behind it to be the absolute worst. Do y’all know a popular discord server was shut down yesterday after the mods were caught defending a sexual predator? There’s always zero accountability, nobody is willing to call out bad actors. 1/2

Official merch haul today. Man, opening packages from A24 used to be fun, but now there’s no magic in it. It’s a boring box, not even their Hazbin Hotel tape, and no extra surprises. Unless Halloween blows me away (doubtful), this may be my last official merch purchase outside of promos.
