The "Friday the 13th Storm" was one of "The Big 3" regional major windstorms to strike West Coast in the last 80 years.43 years ago tonight. Gusts 70-85 mph in metro area...imagine that! We get excited nowadays when gusts might hit 50. Any other old-timers remember that one?
