Really sad news about James Van Der Beek. I never watched Dawson's Creek but fell slightly in love with him in Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 (which flew under the radar and was underappreciated). He plays an exaggerated version of himself and is excellent. It's on Disney+

Even though they wouldn't film #TheMuppetShow in the UK this time, I hope if they do a series they'll keep up the tradition of throwing in a couple of random Brits as guest stars. Baffle Statler, Waldorf and the rest of the world with Alison Hammond, Alan Carr & Rita from Corrie.

Saw this, thought "there's no way they're not gonna commission a series now", then I remembered what happened to #Neighbours and that the streaming business model is a complete mystery. But anyway, the point is, more Muppets please. #TheMuppetShow

Well, #TheMuppetShow is kinda... perfect? (Sure, Kermit voice, but his heart & soul are fully there and that's what matters.) I was nervous but it's really so, so good. Just wanted it to be longer. (And contain more Pepé, but that's an insatiable appetite for me OK.) More please!

"Who is Kermin, really? How did he bring the Muppets together, OK? And why would he do such a thing?" Fell down a Pepe rabbit hole after watching #TheMuppetShow trailer, OK. I'm so easily pleased but "Kermin" and "Fotzie" tickle me so much. youtu.be/ys5raj-QkZc

Ever been wished a merry Christmas via the medium of a photo of a toffee nut latte from a sachet in a Betty Turpin mug with a festive bow? You have now. Have a wonderful day if you're celebrating. If it's not a great time for you, I hope it's the best it can be and send a big hug

Finally got round to finishing #TheImposter. Only just realised the hot dodgy estate agent is also the hot dodgy firefighter/lighter from 2008 #Neighbours. And I know it's one of about 200 familiar props but seeing the Rodwells' painting in the (Erinsborough) hospital made me sad

Jack @tackjompson.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

Aw, just switched on my laptop for the first time since Thursday and the little shortcut buttons on my mini-keyboard I use(d) to type #WhatsSusanDoing and #Neighbours lit up. Wonder if I'll ever bring myself to delete them.

And thus, my magnum opus is complete. An occasionally-amusing snapshot of Susan Kennedy's life for each day of 23-25 #Neighbours. Hope it raised a smile. Thanks for the dopamine if you engaged with it & for tolerating my disdain for that hideous shared etc etc... #WhatsSusanDoing

Couldn't sleep so I watched it at 7am. Won't say too much until it's aired in Australia except that I was *fine* until the piano theme kicked in. 😭 Meanwhile, a huge thank you to everyone who's worked on #Neighbours and, yes, to Amazon for 460 extra episodes of the show we love.

Getting a sentimental post out of the way early. It's no exaggeration to say this silly cheesy song has helped me get through the worst moments of my life. I may be a critical friend at times but #Neighbours lives SO deep in my heart. I'll miss it forever www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4dz...

Oof, what a sad ep. This final week couldn't feel more different to 2022. Again, beautiful, nuanced performances all round, reflecting everyone's complex emotions. Lovely scene with Karl & Paul reflecting on the street, and Dr Stevie bringing calm & warmth as always. #Neighbours

Jack @tackjompson.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

Catching up on #Neighbours. Gangster plots are not for me, especially with 4 eps to go, but they've become part of the show's DNA and, as a wise woman once said, I think you have to acknowledge everything, celebrate it all. Lovely performances & Remi remembering Cara was gorgeous

Ugh, you really shouldn't do this to my delicate fan-boy heart, #Neighbours. But I love you for it.

What an emotional, reflective episode. Hits v differently from previous "beloved place under threat" stories for obvious reasons. Underwhelming as their main return was, enjoying having Sam & Annalise involved. And Wendy's so broken - Candice is really excelling here. #Neighbours

THIS is how you draw on decades of rich history. We don't need bashing over the head with it - a subtly raised eyebrow is all it takes. An excellent episode by Sarah Mayberry. #Neighbours

Well, this line took me right out of an otherwise excellent episode. There's a time & place for meta winks and this wasn't it. Anyway, great drama and performances all round (but there's not enough time left for this to get to any kind of satisfying resolution, so...) #Neighbours

Love seeing the VMs together again but the amnesia plot's so dumb. Remi remembers Greg but not Cara? Does she think he was the postman? Now she & Dex just CBA to move home? Must've been a better way to handle actor unavailability than trashing the best #Neighbours family in years

In other #Neighbours news, it's unsurprising Amazon didn't bother with new branding for the "2025 season" but instead of sticking with the '24 version, it's reverted to the '23 New Chapter backdrop, which feels like a kick in the teeth! Placeholders there right up to the end 😢

Bit late but it's not like my account isn't one long Aaron Brennan appreciation post. A lovely classic #Neighbours sendoff for him. Paul's speech was gorgeous. I adore this guy - a warm, friendly presence for 10 years, one of the best gay characters on TV & beautifully played by Matt Wilson 💙

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again but I bloody love the Varga-Murphys. Made me lol and broke my heart in the same episode. No other show mixes fun, silly nonsense and heartfelt family drama as well as #Neighbours.

Annalise can't work out the vineyard owner at Krista's bar is the same vineyard owner Krista is married to & arranged a wine tour with? Or that Nell from the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation is Toadie Rebecchi's Nell? This woman knows so many unrelated vintners & Rebecchis?! #Neighbours

Mixed feelings about this VM amnesia story. In normal times, I'd be fine with it but knowing we have so little time left with them, I don't want them to be unhappy, esp when the Rodwells are too. But the acting is so good - look at their sad faces! Adore this family. #Neighbours

Aw, it's hard seeing the cast who were on tour coming back cos it means the cancellation's been announced and everyone's having to act super-excited right after learning they've lost their jobs. Big hugs to crew and cast for the last couple of filming days. #Neighbours

An excellent week of #Neighbours so far. The Darcy story's been great, drawing together almost all of the cast, including all the "heritage" characters and some of the MVPs of the revival, a villain with some nuance, Susan belatedly learning from her history... Great stuff.

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of Aaron's first appearance and, whether it was intentional or not, I enjoyed the overly-detailed reference to "my older brother Mark" as an echo of this ridiculous line from his first ep.

Heh. Remember when the Varga-Murphys moved to the street and thought it was extremely weird that everyone kept poking their noses into other people's business? And when Cara hated Wendy? Love this growth for them. #Neighbours

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I bloody love Matt Wilson. The way he dials up the "gay" physicality when Aaron's flirting, but not to the point of parody, is chef's kiss. (Stick with Rhett please, Aaron.) #Neighbours

The Agnes story must've been exceedingly weird if you aren't a longtime fan & don't know the real-life circumstances (it was quite weird even if you are & do) but a treat to have Anne back on screen, and how lovely that Ian got to end his career with her alongside him #Neighbours
