Never call kindness weak. That's something that was gaslit into us to be perceived as a bad thing.

I used to be an avid reader, but not so much anymore. I'm honestly fearing reading in my genre as I'm writing my book. I don't want to accidentally absorb ideas, making it less authentic. Any other #writers with this problem? #BookSky

I would say FFX, but I also think FF16 would be good for newer gamers who are more used to modern graphics and the fight system is absolutely incredible on 16. The older representation of 10 and it's incredible narrative is good for people who want authentic storytelling.

When I say I am in shambles over the sketch of my book's art commission, I mean that if I can't have his art plastered somewhere on the dust jacket, I don't want the dust jacket. #booksky #amwriting @northmancreations.bsky.social

Ever written something so absolutely fire that it actually makes you giddy? It's happened like twice in the last two days and this is the feeling I'm here for. #BookSky #amwriting

Who is your favorite Final Fantasy Cid, and why is it Cidolfus Telamon from FFXVI? #finalfantasy

Quote this post with your 4 favorite Final Fantasy characters! As selfish as this is, my answer is the only right answer. 😂 I kid. Mostly.

There's nothing wrong with having a sad story. The problem I had during my six year long hiatus is I couldn't see a light at the end. It caused me to get help and now I'm back to writing sad stories with empowerment.

Hey #FantasyWriters, is there anyone here or anyone who knows anybody from Yorkshire, England? One of my characters I'm imagining has that particular accent and I want to be able to translate that tone on the page without it sounding too Olde English. Any helpers? 💜

Several of these especially fantasy and horror. If you haven't checked out Baldur's Gate 3 or Final Fantasy 16, highly recommended for games!

Hey #BookSky am I the only person who is tired of male love interests being possessive, abusive and cold? Shit like ACOTAR doesn't do it for me for that reason. I want more authors to write more men with substance and hearts of gold. So I'm doing it myself.

It was. Weird and uncomfortable at parts but it was the good kind. Robert Eggers is incredibly underrated.

I know the feeling and honestly? I've found that it's for the best. If it deters from your original plan, it's probably for a good reason and the characters have a life of their own!

As an author, what is your hill to die upon? Mine is that fantasy men, especially the love interests, need to have more or a personality than being possessive and borderline abusive. I want to read about a strong heart of gold. Not the equivalent of a hemmheroid. It ain't hot. #writers
