see nowadays I just name my files after what is in the picture nowadays. for example if it's a drawing of a character called Callie the file is called Callie. However. When I used to draw on my phone I never named the files. So I ended up with very memorable and easy to find file names like this

I'm really upset to find out a keychain I was gifted is actually stolen art from @lougouvea.bsky.social I believe it was obtained from a Chinese selling platform called Pinduoduo. Sorry I don't have any more info but I thought it'd be worth to give a heads up. None of us had any idea until now :(

Update to this situation (They claim that it only affected 15 day old sessions, but I personally know people with newer accounts who encountered the bug, so still be careful!) in general, practice online safety and keep your location & info safe regardless!! (thanks @/zaybeol for the screenshot)

something I Should do more often though is reference existing images for poses. as opposed to what I usually do which is to combine my imagination with staring at my own limbs

the sketch of the drawing from the previous posts, with guidelines drawn over the reference image in the corner. in the sketch, the character is looking to the left rather than straight on as in the final image, and the charger weapon is drawn in green whilst everything else is sketched in brown. there is some text filling in the gap between the reference and the drawing, which reads "I found this blank space off-putting so here is some text". an arrow points to the shoes on the sketch, labelled "most awkward to draw shoes ever".

Share your 4 years of art progress (2022/3/4/5) ...but did I move forwards or backwards? It was pretty difficult to select examples as there's a fair bit of variation between a lot of my work. I did deliberately pick only drawings that showed humanoids, though.

fwiw I messaged a mod on the site asking about whether a drawing (attached below) with intentional messy lines would count as rough or clean, and I was told to rate it as a clean sketch. I think if you just look at the lines the style is kinda similar to your examples? (OC in image by MusicalRaven)
