DnD session 14 today was a blast! Full on city invasion, dynamic scene switch, tons of checks, buildings collapsing and one player who stopped it all, temporarily, with a BBEG deception check. 🤯 Everything was theatre of the mind.

You know what the biggest (and most unexpected) hurdle has been while working on my first ttrpg? Convincing myself that not using my own art doesn't mean I suck or am somehow cheating. Truly did not see that problem coming.

Developing a game like this and running a Kickstarter isn't cheap. Reminds me of when a producer or illustrator asks the community whether 50 bucks an hour is too little when trying to get clients. Many of the answers are, "Bump up your price or you won't be considered serious". Real talk.
