Two things I want to do is make a version for nameplates, probably for chassis designations (e.g. ABC-123) and sculpted top plates to provide scenery to the base. The latter is going to take some practice on my part.

I haven't followed Pokemon in a long time, but I still have my childhood cards. I always thought these were cheap joke cards. This week I learned they are not. Stripping paint off this 20 year old TimberWolf, the first #BattleTech mini I ever bought and long before I had any idea what I was doing. How should I paint this classic sculpt? #PaintingMinis

A metal mini of a classic TimberWolf sculpt from Iron Wind Metals . It sits submerged in isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush is being used to scrub the paint off of it. My hand is gloved, not because it's required, but because I don't want the alcohol drying out my hand. There is also a 3D print of a timber wolf inspired by the same sculpt sitting off to the side and created by me back when I was a teenager.

I usually give a show/anime 3 episodes, but I've certainly cut some off after 1. Video games definitely vary, but I usually feel like I know by the end of the first session if I'll be sticking with it. All of my book consumption is via audiobook, but I don't typically find myself dropping any.

I've read very little 40k, so I don't have that problem, haha. You absolutely should keep going. I've read everything he's put out, and I think he only gets better overtime. His most recent book, The Devils, might be one of my favorites ever. It's a little more hopeful than his other works.

I only recently read Dark Tower, and being able to go straight from one book into the next was an amazing experience. Full agree on S tier. First Law is S Tier for me, though I understand why others might struggle. Abercrombie just clicks with me and I love all his characters.
