And now, we come full circle, the exact edit pictured in the aforementioned screenshot that inspired this trek.

a Wikipedia page revision. most notably, at the top of the first paragraph is “LOCK TGE PAGE IMMEDIATEIYLY” [sic], and the albums title is “U ever just be eating cheetos (king bob)” [sic]

And here is the famed edit, a plea of desperation to the site admins, from a panicked wikipedian, as the page devolves into chaos before the clock can even strike noon

Revision as of 11:45, 28 October 2024

Another edit that I didn’t even notice due to the sheer amount of things happening.

Section documenting Tyler The Creator’s chronology. On the left is Call Me If You Get Lost (2021), center is Tyler The Creator (2024) and on the right is Chromakopia 2: Wetter and Unrated

An assortment of infobox edits. The last one is my personal favorite because someone clearly got confused.

Artist credit has been changed to “Kanye Omari West my glorious king”

Album title is changed to “Emotional Patrick.” With the artist now being “EMO patrick”

Album title is changed to “Tyler The Creator”

This is at the bottom of the personnel list, which is also suffering insane vandalism. This gets put back after being removed for a little while, too

The bottom of a bullet list, with green highlighted text reading “Uhm”

user “Ienjoythiwebsite3” begins a series of some of the strangest edits I’ve seen so far, with the artist of this album now being “Esmerelda’s father”

A Wikipedia revision by a user called ‘Ienjoythiwebsite3’. Struck out is “Tyler, the creator” and is replaced with “Esmeralda’s father”.

this was a singular instance of the word ‘Chromakopia’ being edited. just. One. Appearance of it. Not even in the opening paragraph, no. this is the first sentence in the marketing section

A cropped piece of text. Highlighted in red and struck out is “Chromakopia”, and hi-lighted in green right next to it is “Chropoopia”

Amidst a sea of editors fighting against an ocean of frank oceans being hallucinated onto the albums personnel, people start targeting the album’s info box.

Wikipedia Album Infobox for ‘Chromakopia’
Underneath the album art, the Studio album is credited to one “Tyler, the Masturbator”

Something I didn’t thoroughly keep track of was the amount of times people kept adding Frank ocean to the article. also at this point there was so much happening that I didn’t even notice someone added “PICKLE RICK GREEN”. The highlight is, of course, Alvin and the chipmunks

A tracklist. In order, it reads as follows
14 “PICKLE RICK GREEN” Tyler Okonma
15 “BLONDED” Tyler Okonma, Frank Ocean, Alvin, and the Chipmunks
16 “WHITE FERARRI PART.2” Tyler Okonma, Frank Ocean

The album is officially out, and the edit RIGHT after changing “will be” to “is”, clarifies that this is actually tyler’s 56th album.

tracks 5 and 6 get retitled. This isn’t fixed for a while (maybe like, a page of revisions until it is)

A track listing.
In order, it reads as follows
4 “Darling, I”
5 “Yo! Whats up everybody my name is Tyler, the Creator and I’m here to have fun!”
6 “Yes I like to have fun and get things done!”

For the record, all of these edits from hereon out were on 10/28 Track listing is expanded upon, and instantly this section becomes a warzone, with this being likely the first vandal

An album track listing for Chromakopia. Track 5 has been renamed to “Hello guys, it’s BOOGOXSEAL! Here with a new Banger!”
on the right hand side is the edit log, including the above as well as a note indicating that the twelfth track’s title has been changed from “Goobye” to “Dildo Monkey”

First notable change, under note [a], which is in regards to this being his seventh album. iirc this was in the very early hours of the release day (10/28/24)
