Access to capital has always been a problem for European startups and where America has done way better than us. They are riskier and collect more rewards. What I don't get from this video is that investing in capital markets is an investment on the big boys, not on startups. What's missing?

👉 Your savings shouldn’t be banking on disappointment. Europeans are among the best savers in the world. Yet, many keep their savings in bank accounts that pay very little interest. Today, we invite you to... ↓

Sure, doesn't mean I am happy with the decision. Unfortunately new generations can't chose the game to play with 10k+ game library or which movie to watch with endless Netflix movies and series. Digital brought us the world where more is actually less.

If the advantage is being able to switch between games without getting your ass up from the couch, I unfortunately don't see it. I don't mind waiting to go to the shop and buy the game or having to get up to switch the game in my console. Not everything needs to be super fast paced.

They don't owe the consumer a "second hand market" but it doesn't mean that they didn't take away a benefit that was there before. With that, they also just took away the awesome possibility of borrowing a game to a friend in school and exchanging games for the weekend with friends.

Pedro @t4ir1.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

To the benefit of only the corporations that without physical, completely obliterated the second hand market.

My point. This means the same game at the same price can have 2 different licenses.

It's not really true, if you buy an Xbox play anywhere title in physical format, you are limited to play in the platform where you bought it on.

What Zelensky gave us today in the Oval Office, by not bowing to a bully and extortionist, was a masterclass in anti-imperialism. Including to many self-proclaimed anti-imperialists, who will naturally reject it, but who wouldn't last 30 seconds in a similar situation.

The issue is not that the IT departments are lazy to make the move but rather because some applications still rely on windows XP. Imagine the scenario where you have a digital x-ray machine that sends the results to a software running on windows XP. The windows update prompts a new x-ray machine.

E pesadas.
