My take on the whole thing involving ReSkate: I like base game fine, the tweaks the mod launcher adds are great, offline and linux support is great glad both exist 👍

I have also completed 5 different charity live-stream events if you were to count the total of all the money donated across all of those streams, it would be just under $900 total across various local and global aid groups there will be a 6th at some point in November, keeps your eyes peeled 👀

without realizing it, I discovered the two main colours I use for my branding are basically the bi flag not my fault they look so good together 💅

a color pallette, showing a black bar at the top and a white bar on the bottom. In the middle are two squares in Magenta and Dark Blue, the magenta square has the hex code #C71585 and the blue has the code #193B6D

I never imagined him as a genuine WoL, just a dude who got involved in boats, did some time serving the Maelstrom's naval fleet, then left to pursue trade everyone he served with, then and now, begged him to shave that moustache. He refused. #t2theffxiv

12 - after watching a youtube video and being annoying tracking down their steam name, I befriended a Garry's Mod animator! They don't make videos anymore, but I still really cherish the friendship we had, even if I was a little cringy toward them (proof: steamcommunity.com/id/isuckatvi...)

6 - being active on Team Fortress 2 in 2009 I was one of the 111,111 people to receive a GentleManne's Service Medal When I stopped playing, I was trading off my various hats and items to people and someone offered me Terraria for the medal (in 2012) and I said yes it is now worth over $1k

glad i'm not the only one that uses heroforge to draft character designs 😊 here's some of my favorites (and characters you can watch on stream as well!!)

This is Jane. She is a Talos (djinn made of stone and iron) weilding a variety of weapons. Her skin is pale and marked with growths of iron veins. Her one arm is clad in ancient armor of brass and red clay, she's in a demin vest concealing a bisexual flag tank top. Her large boots with purple laces indicating through lace code trhat she is queer.

Kris - a wolf demon with a robotic arm, moustache and stubble. he's wearing tactical gear overtop of a Hawaiian shirt. His hair is brown with streaks of gray, with visible cybernetic creases and lines throughout his skin

I used a subtle dithering pattern to sort of make it like a digital peg board, but that lighter box is exactly 1080, so i just fit the game into that and no more guessing with window adjustments the better solution is to just add resolution selection to windowed modes in games but i digress

back when the initial wave of "artistic nudity" stuff happened on Twitch, I had the suggestion of just being able to put thumbnails on live broadcasts. This could be useful not just for nsfw warnings, but hiding spoilers, cohesive theming, etc. we don't need to ban porn, just warn people about it
