![LPS Hal Jordan notes:
- Closeup of Hal’s hair + ears pointing to a panel of Hal Jordan with graying hair. Ear fluffs = graying temples (+ white streak for good measure [tongue out emoji]).
- Closeup of LPS Hal’s eye with eye shines in the shape of a star (duh) and triangle (paper plane) + white lens overlay.
- Closeup of Hal’s collar with a Green Lantern tag. Ring placement: loyalty to the corp (complex relationship w/ authority).
- The sugar glider represents nature’s aviators.
- Reference image of an LPS sugar glider v1 with an aviator hat (literally comes as a pilot).](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreibb66hgk3ddaamhpfy5x6hgagq2fgzcgwsmdizoydcdndbpkvungu)

![Halbarry comic in a dreamy watercolor style.
Panel 1: Hal is propping himself up on the bed with an elbow, drool stain dampening the shoulder of his nightgown. He blinks one eye awake, eye mask pushed up his forehead, and smiles at Barry. Barry is draped in a blue robe over his pajamas, leaning on the mattress with a glass of orange juice in each hand. His hair is messy, and he wears a sarcastic smile on his face.
-
Barry: [offering orange juice to Hal] Sleep well?
Hal: [accepting glass] Like a baby.
Barry: I’m glad one of us did.
Hal: I told you pants were too stuffy for bed.
Barry: And a nightcap isn’t?
Hal: It’s cozy. Big difference.
Barry: It’s distracting is what it is. And it makes you look like an old man.
Hal: Says the curmudgeon.
-
Panel 2: The banter of their speech bubbles gradually trail from the first panel to a shot of their legs playing footsie in slippers underneath a breakfast table. Hal’s is pink, Barry’s is blue.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreib6ra24s7qcbr262dhu3z2g7cfzocgdnj2rg5xoa6ytb3pz5ay5cy)
![Hal: [leaning back on hand, head tilted, soft amused smile] Y’know… I don’t think you need blush after all.
Berry: [subconsciously leaning forward, starry-eyed and still deeply blushing pink] Huh? Why?

![[bonus page, both looking in mirror]
Berry: [wearing makeup, smiling awkwardly, sweat drop, rubbing back of neck] I think it looks better on you. (note: feels like crossdressing in makeup)
Hal: [wearing makeup, small smile checking herself out in reflection curiously, thoughtfully, light flush of pink across cheeks, surrounded by sparkles] (note: would look good in anything anyway)](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreiadm2qi4xkco44to42s5y3yyonyqq2mm4gacq7yvsr6ko5w3hxmga)
![[fancomic in grayscale]
Hal: [grimacing at makeup utensils in her hands] I’m way out of my depth here. (note: learning how to use makeup)
Berry: [leaning over] I wish I could give you advice, but I’ve never worn makeup before.
Hal: [turning towards Berry, incredulous] NEVER? In your entire life?
Berry: [sheepishly] No? I never felt the need to.
Hal: [tilting head, smiling thoughtfully] Hmm… I think you can still help.
Hal: [off-screen] I could use a blank slate to practice on.
Berry: [wide-eyed expression, pink lightning bolt blush] ?](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreigbyjpzoqybhu3d2uh23zgc2p2dic6xm5gxhkhvw73hm2eu4aablq)
![[both kneeling on floor, makeup beside them]
Hal: [isolated panel] Stop moving. [applying mascara onto Berry, annoyed] I don’t want to waste product because you can’t hold still.
Berry: [squeezing eyes shut, gritting teeth] I told you, I’m not used to this kind of thing.
Hal: [putting mascara away] Yeah, well, depending on how this goes, you’re gonna have to.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreiesil4ryawamdzr3t22ss2m7aht3zz7aoeajefiqvargiqucjoe5a)
![Hal: [powdering blush applicator] Let’s just do blush. Should be easier.
Berry: [watching application, unassuming] Okay.
Hal: [tucking a finger under Berry’s chin] Now hold still.
Berry: [looking up at Hal in sudden surprise, slightly blushing pink]
Hal: [casual but focused, leaning in to apply blush, bringing Berry in closer by the chin]
Berry: [blush deepening, eyes wide in awe, focused on Hal]
[values gradually getting dimmer and panels zooming in closer, creating a more intimate atmosphere. last panel is lit up with an ambient glow]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:vtl6nycankctb3qxaesrtx3z/bafkreic3tzk7etppcmbgssqxq2f7zvruzjh4fwq352demk6wzj33ptc57q)
![[parallel panels of back-to-back closeups, first Berry, then Hal]
Berry: [blushing hard, pink blooming across her cheeks to her ears, looking back in awe with glowing shines and lightning bolts in her eyes as Hal holds her chin in one hand and the applicator in the other]
Hal: [taken aback, faintly blushing pink, applicator hand breaching the 4th wall of the panel but halting in surprise]
