my new desk has a pegboard, so I finally have a place to hang my pin sash!

finally took the time to rewire the pickups on the 70s Italian electric piano I bought a while ago. soldered some breadboard connectors to them so that I could easily test different arrangements, and figured out a wiring that got rid of some annoying high pitched humming!

I‘ll start with cleaning the dampers (the plastic doohickeys that oress down on each tine as soon as you release the corresponding key). There’s only about 70 of these, and after some searching I found an ultrasonic cleaner that could fit several at a time without costing an arm and a leg

New platform, new me! So I guess I‘ll be the Clueless Electric Piano Guy for a bit. This puppy is from the 70s and was last serviced in 1992. Nevertheless, the pickups seem to be in working order, but the *everything* needs cleaning and possibly restoration.
